It's truly, honestly amazing how you can innovate!

To take something as effective as Nexus Mod Manager, and turn it into what it is today! It's honestly so cool!

Manually downloading each mod from a collection? Bottlenecking speeds, pausing downloads unless you go through an ad!
Truly, this is amazing stuff! Really ingenious!

Oh, and of course, locking the feature to actually make it NOT as awful if you pay for it! Honestly, well done!

Here's a suggestion, you should ask for pictures of people's birth certificates, legal identification and credit cards to even let them sign up for Vortex!! That'd be so cool and on brand!

  • Solution

Ignoring the fact NMM cannot manage Collections at all (so that's completely moot), are we living in an alternative reality where NMM didn't and still doesn't have the same Premium restrictions?

  • Bottlenecking speeds - Both Vortex and NMM (and manually downloading through your browser) has this restriction. They have done since 2007.
  • Pausing downloads unless you go through an ad - neither Vortex or NMM do this, nor have they ever done this

The things people say about you and your products...do you constantly feel like they're trying to gaslight you? Ever suffer from a Mandela Effect like feeling?

I'll admit I'm not always happy with everything about Vortex, (and I sometimes express it) but I advocate for its use and am VERY happy with the reduction in personal effort needed to manage the ever growing myriad of Skyrim SE mods I've installed over the past few years, afforded by Vortex (and its nexus vortex linkage).

To be perfectly honest, my "copy" of Skyrim SE would be in the figurative dustbin without Vortex.

Click here, wait, click there, click that, click this, wait a bit more for deployment, and.... done. play. Easy peasy pie.
