important Starfield Mod Compatibility Megathread

will we ever be able to mod by simply install with vortex and good to go? I am so disappointed with starfield modding honestly have no idea how to use text plugin or configure if the mod is esm or what ever else it could be, i wish it was as simple as fallout 4 just download with vortex and its done and not jump through hoops and get confused on wtf am i doing wrong

When Bethesda officially adds mod support hopefully things will become easier and more standardized.

The FOMOD Installer for Ultimate Shipyards Unlocked has a checkbox to install a patch for Ship Builder Categories, but the checkbox is greyed out even if Ship Builder Categories is installed. Have to manually install the patch for now.

After installing the latest Vortex Starfield extension, Starfield does not load any ESM or ESP... neither from the plugins.txt file nor with sTestFile

I noticed today that Vortex doesn’t create subdirectories for each profile made for Starfield. I posted some details here

and created a video about it here

 

Is there a way to fix Vortex to support per profile subdirectories for saves? Thank you.
