Vortex did nothing wrong. By default Vortex places game downloads and staged mods in AppData\Roaming\Vortex. However, you can override those defaults in Vortex settings and place the directories elsewhere. Remember, though, that hard link deployment requires that the game and the mod staging folder be on the same drive.

Ya I had most of my mods working great. No game changers or hacks just stuff like graphics and stuff like StarUI Inventory to show more info. Got on this morning and I have spent all day trying to figure out why none of them are working now but Vortex says everything is ok no conflicts or out dated mods.

Any suggestion would help.

Not sure how the best answer can be added by someone other than the OP, especially considering its wrong.

What would the point in a mod manager that installs mods to the wrong location and gives you no advice or inclination that is an issue be a problem with anything other than the mod manger?

Anyway its not a problem now I've uninstalled it and won't be bothering to reinstall it
