I do not recommend listening to these bands loudly...my ear's were making that ringing sound all day after doing so.

Lol, I can remember how I had to cope with that for three or four days after being to a Vader concert - and that wasn't even grindcore ^^

At the very moment I'm listening to Moonsorrow - Verisäkeet. Immortal, Darkthrone, Taake, Watain, Nocte Obducta, Grabnebelfürsten, Blind Guardian, Falconer, Kataklysm, Dornenreich and Endstille make up my all time favourites.

That's because metal owns. True metal, that is. None of these nu-metal bands like Slipknot or Korn. I mean heavy stuff, like old Metallica, Motörhead, industrial metal like Rammstein and Ministry. Thrash and speed metal especially. You ever need something to keep you awake? Coffee is worthless - just throw on Damage Inc., Feuer Frei, Leper Messiah, or Disposable Heroes. That'll keep you up.

I also forget to mention the punk shtuff I listen to. Again, true punk. None of this emo/pop punk sh*t. Dead Kennedys, the Ramones, Sex Pistols, etc...

I disagree. (Well, I don't listen to grindcore, I listen to death metal, but it should be the same at this point.) You have to listen to this music loudly if you want it to affect you. Just don't listen too long.

Metallica and "old-Metal" bore the hell out of me. They do a half hour set down the local Rock club of "old-Metal" and there's nothing there to thrash to. Nu-Metal gets me going (physically, not sexually) a lot more.

Don't start giving me the "your nu-Metal wouldn't be here without my <insertband> old Metal band". I don't care, just because they were the originals doesn't mean they're more skilled in what they do, or that they're better.

So Phuff on that! :P

Yeah, yellow card is all right. Let's see...

I just got some new songs by Kasabian and I like them

Ben Folds sings some funny songs, especially his cover of the Snoop Dogg song "B*tches Ain't Sh*t" It's funny because it's done Ben Folds-piano style

And I almost forgot...LISTEN TO TUBULAR BELLS by MIKE OLDFIELD. it's amazing
