Magnedeus31
Now i am in no way saying vortex is bad and i still use it, but there have been times where i install a mod but the mod doesn't work because vortex installed it in the wrong location or it just doesn't work and this has happened more than once. i have my game in the same drive where the mods should be going, but when i load up the game sometimes the mod doesn't work and when i open the file location the mod isn't where it's suppose to be or it is but it still doesn't work. i know to always use the latest versions of mods so it can't be the mod itself. But my main issue is why vortex installs stuff in the wrong spot.
showler
What game? Is it a problem with an extension? Is the game just a PITA to mod?
Magnedeus31
It was dragon age Origins. Some mods work and others vortex just installs somewhere else. idk why it does this. i know it's not perfect, but i'm just curious on why it does this.
Solution Zanderat Posted April 20 Solution Share Posted April 20 Not Vortex's fault. I have modded DAO quite a bit . Some of the older mods need to be repacked to work with Vortex or only work with DAO-ModManager
