dmrpotatohead Posted May 6, 2024 Posted May 6, 2024 No matter what mod I get and try to use, Vortex just keeps telling me it is redundant. But for the mod I had from months ago are fine.
ZoldFrog Posted May 7, 2024 Posted May 7, 2024 Are the mods that you are now downloading and installing mods that you used previously? If that is the case, it may be that those mods were not properly removed from your game and now that you are downloading/installing them two instances of the same mods are being detected.
dmrpotatohead Posted May 7, 2024 Author Posted May 7, 2024 No they are mods for Horizon zero dawn and forbidden west. They were the first mods used.
Community Manager Pickysaurus Posted May 7, 2024 Community Manager Posted May 7, 2024 Redundant means the mod either contains no files (you deleted them) or all files from that mod are overwritten by another mod in your list.
dmrpotatohead Posted May 8, 2024 Author Posted May 8, 2024 but thats just it. it was the first time I downloaded it and it was the only one I downloaded for the game. Unless a mod from another game could have an effect on it neither of those options could be it. Or at least shouldn't, right??
Community Manager Pickysaurus Posted May 8, 2024 Community Manager Posted May 8, 2024 You can try reinstalling the mod and if the message still appears it means there's another one overwriting it.
MasterGunner124 Posted December 8, 2024 Posted December 8, 2024 Is there a way to disable this. I get a number of redundant messages and when I disable them Things stop working. Case in point using the COCO body I get redundant for the pubs and when I disable it the body has no pubes. This is not the only wrong message I get. I just ignore it it would be nice to just be able to disable it
showler Posted December 8, 2024 Posted December 8, 2024 Are you sure you shouldn't be making that mod have priority rather than disabling it?
