JonVonBasslake
So, I have two modded Skyrim SE profiles, one for regular modded and one for turning the game into a dungeon crawler of sorts. Could I somehow create a desktop shortcut that launches the game with a specific profile, instead of having to go into NMM and change it manually? GObonzo
i would also like an option to do this. i do not want Vortex open at all times and do not want to have to launch Vortex and choose which profile to load each time. just being able to launch a certain game with a certain profile from a simple shortcut or bat file would make things much better/easier. showler
At the moment I believe the only way to do this would be to have multiple Vortex profiles rather than multiple game profiles. I believe this could be accomplished with the ---user-data command line. I don't know if anything else here would be helpful: https://github.com/Nexus-Mods/Vortex/wiki/MODDINGWIKI-Users-Troubleshooting-Command-Line-Parameters
vortexposer
There's an option on a Profile's card to create shortcut on desktop.

Can someone say what "Set reference profile" means? I'm guessing that "Init Collection" means to make a collection from the chosen profile. diziet
vortexposer
That'd be from "Compare Profiles" extension, which sets up the profile that it's to reference. Edited June 18 by vortexposer
