Cloudflare forcing me to 'verify I am human' every five minutes.

HeyYou

What's this all about? Never had this problem before... Today though, about every third time I click a link to anywhere on the site, Cloudflare wants to verify... about every second or third time it does so, it makes me check the little box. More annoying than anything else, but, I really don't need the annoyance on a gaming forum...... 🙂

I was just about to post about it! HeyYou's right. It's about every other third click and it's been happening after I hit Submit Reply in messenger. I've sent three... four? messages today and Cloudfare required verification each time.

So, yeah, it gets annoying.

There was a DDOS this afternoon so the devs decided to leave CloudFlare on its highest security setting over night. If you're getting checked very often it's likely because you have high privacy settings/extensions/addons on your system and it's messing with CloudFlare's ability to recognise you as the same person who did the last check you did X amount of time ago.

It occurred to me that it may be browser related. So, no surprise there. Are the security settings going to revert or is this the future of Nexus? Wouldn't blame you if it is.

Aha - that probably explains why the forum became very slow for me earlier while browsing. I've had the verify me as human thing since then too (even though I'm an alien!) 😄

At least I know why now. 👍

I understand it too, but I wouldn´t be able to frequent the forums as often- Its barely usable for me atm. I am required to keep certain security measures on all my devices, even at home, so for me, it would suck ^^

The forums are extremely slow for me right now and have been for the past few days. I use Firefox.

I don't know if this is related, but it's taking a long time to browse them!
