The technician made a neat job and didn't demolish half the house. @zixi I am happy to see the notice that you are among the people getting fiber optic ISP service. 1 GBps, not 1 Gbps, which would be good, but 1 GBps which are eight times faster then 1 Gbps.
zixi
@Pagafyr - we live in that there countryside where the nearest neighbour (pun intended) is a horse... Until a few years ago the telephone consisted of a couple of empty bean cans and a length of string. Back to the sheep... The sun is really, really shining. I should be able to take the camera outside!
Pagafyr
Wow! That made me happy just because of you reminded me of how I first learned about two metal cans and some string. It was one of my first experiences with technology. Back in time there were no private lines on the telephones. One big long party line with everyone connected. We could all hear whatever anyone was talking about, and even talk to them. That was before they discovered how to make private phone connections. Everyone had a different phone number but everyone could pick up and listen. LOL Only reason we had a phone was because of Dad's job.

Or at least how to do it for a price most people would pay. It was cheaper for the phone company to do several parties on a line, since the cables to the exchange didn't need as many wires. Anyeay, I'm still enjoying fall color here , and I had a nice drive down one of the Minneapolis parkways when I grabbed lunch yesterday. Urban heat island at night means the leaves take a little longer to change in the Twin Cities than in most of outstate Minnesota. Though parts of the Minnesota River Valley are lagging even further, so I might take a drive down there later. I'm also looking forward to a Halloween party with online friends in Second Life today. Always some fun costumes at it in past years! Edited October 27 by AaronOfMpls slightly better flow between paragraphs

Oblivionaddicted
Repeatable Morrowind quests recently received 2 additional endorsements. Now I feel my work is no longer underrated but I still don't have any idea of the reason why so few people downloaded it. 1

Pagafyr
Autumn winds are making everything swing and sway, like dancers. High up in the sky are gray clouds. The s are still in the Belfry. I found a sealed bag of French Roasted Peanuts. Just right for Movie nights. While I was scavenging in a pile I found a bag of Land O Lakes French Vanilla Coco. I scavenged around some more and found large Marshmallows. Time for some Hot Coco.
