That's under 0.0001% of our average monthly userbase. Whilst we are taking feedback from here, that does not mean that we will completely disregard all of the data we have collected or make decisions solely based on the opinions put in this thread, as we've said since the very beginning of the beta. According to that forum post responses were: "Game listing pages scored 4.4/5 (113 responses) Mod listing pages scored 4.3/5 (756 responses) Game home pages scored 4.0/5 (1,219 responses)" 800 users posting here is more users than responded to polling on the Game Listing Pages or the Mod Listing Pages. I don't think anyone is suggesting to "completely disregard all of the data", but this thread is demonstrating a high turnout compared to poll responders and should in that context be taken with as much weight, if not more. 1 1

Quite a small percentage uses the start page after they found their games' pages. So you probably mostly catch newer users.

When polling, a high turnout from people who are here expressly to give their negative views is not comparable to a randomly selected sample. It's the equivalent of asking people their fast food preferences in a McDonald's.

I tend to mod a game I'm playing, and in doing so either have a bookmark to that games nexus page, or I simply type into the address bar "nexus" and the browser autofills and suggests the page for the game I'm most recently involved with. I basically only ever go to the main site page when I'm curious about answering a "how many mods does Abc game have these days?". Fortunately you can bookmark specific pages scoped to a game, including all search filters. e.g. Skyrim SE mods over the last 7 days, sorted by endorsements, excluding the word 'books, including 'armor', excluding translations. Here or whatever filters you might apply.

Most users likely use the middle mouse button for scrolling or opening links in new tabs. I use Right-Click “Open in new tab” to open in a new tab. I do use the wheel for scrolling, it can scroll AND be set to Double-Click. It requires rolling the wheel, the other requires pressing down on the wheel. I even had a mouse where you could not only roll the wheel to scroll, and click the wheel to double-click, but could also tilt the wheel side to side and use it as “Forward” and “Back” in your browser or OS. But, I'm sure you're right, and that THOUSANDS of users use it as a middle click, probably the same ones who love the new UI, whoever they are. Maybe run a poll about it.

Never saw it, because I'm rarely on the MAIN Site, I go to a game page, and stay on that page. Never saw a BANNER for the POLL, letting people know there was a poll, either. The only reason to let people know about a poll, ONLY ON THE MAIN PAGE, instead of EVERY PAGE, is to make sure only some people see the poll. You have never addressed my post detailing Quick Search, you only keep responding to my very short posts while skipping over the detailed posts you ask for.

Here or whatever filters you might apply. Either you messed up your quote or you severely misinterpreted it. The person tried to make it clear that the Main Page doesn't have a single use for people who regularly use this website to enhance their games (it hasn't been updated yet, so it's still difficult to navigate), since it doesn't provide any useful information for them. Furthermore, your response, other than it most likely being auto-generated by an outdated version of an AI chat generator, based on your language comprehension, contains a pretty big flaw: cause you can't filter by keyword on that page; thus you didn't exclude the word 'books', or included 'armor', you excluded and included tags instead, dropping your results to less than a third the mods with the same filters enabled.
