Classic still just looks better. The colors, the lack of the weird blue gradient, the picture in the background. I like the interface improvements by and large, but the aesthetics are still worse.

I disagree. The more fletched out the description is, the more details are given, the better it is.

Are we stopping work on mod browsing once the rollout is complete?

No. We still have some work left to do, including further improvements to the search experience and any performance improvements we deem necessary. We'll also be very carefully considering your feedback from additional HotJar surveys, the Forums and Discord. 

 

How have we been assessing your feedback?

We have been using various locations to gather feedback across the forums, feedback pop-ups, Discord, other community locations, and site usage data. 

Here is an overview of the feedback we have received from the pop-ups. 

Game listing pages scored 4.4/5 (113 responses)
Mod listing pages scored 4.3/5 (756 responses)
Game home pages scored 4.0/5 (1,219 responses)

We carefully evaluated all the feedback and made some difficult decisions about which changes to implement. In the end, our design reflects the collective input of the wider community, prioritising the features and adjustments that the majority of users wanted. 

 

And i guess any negative critique will not be taken into account. Even the fact, that maybe more people are not happy about the upcoming changes.

MANY OF US DON'T WANT THE DESIGN CHANGE.

I don't believe it's the majority.

Keep the design, change the code if you must, but keep the design.

Is there a way to change the default on search to Mods and set the default search results sorting to something other than Endorsements? The vast majority of the time I'm looking for new mods and not videos or collections or really popular but ancient mods...

Please add back Sort by Trending.

Custom time range for mod searches appears to be removed.  Now there is only ALL, 24. 7. 14, 28, 1YR.  There used to also be a range that the user could input their desired time range.

Please give users the ability to choose between old and new site designs.  The new stuff is simply less usable on PC. 

I can't speak to its use on mobile devices.  I have personally never gone to the site on one.

Why is search not defaulting to mods it's so inconvenient! At least make it happen if I'm in the mods section or on a mod. And if I search and press enter because I hate the popup it takes me to search the entire website instead of the game I'm on and it still doesn't search mods... I hate it, change it back .

Also hate that mods are no longer the priority, there used to be a few rows now it's not.
