Epic clouds, they really do look like roolling thunder clouds, gonig in all directions, no fps hit with this mod.

 

Its hard to tell because they move so quick, but its there. Dynamic lightning to.

Far Cry 3 is one of my favourite shooters. I admit I have never received that note before (I'm too nice to murder innocents :tongue:) but sounds like fun nevertheless.

 

Also, just be aware that one of the endings sucks. The ending I chose pretty much soured the game afterwards for me...

Yeah, Far Cry 3 is great. The civilians die cause they are too slow, if they see a speeding car or a me shooting they shouldn't stay in front of me like lumps of wood. Therefore it's their own fault.

 

And if it's the ending where you get laid and stabbed to death, then I advise you not to get married. It's the same but with less stabbing, there's still blood and pain though. :tongue:

Nope, just desperate, forgot to buy toilet paper and there were no paper towels so I had to improvise. Between A4 printing paper and fine sand paper I used for heatsink lapping, I chose the lesser evil.

 

Either way, it wasn't pleasant, felt like driving a bicycle on the dirt road with a rock instead of a seat, I still can't feel my arse. :sad:

UPlay still won't let me play FC3. It crashes at the first autosave when you go hunting at the beginning. I've played the tutorial a dozen times trying to get around it.

I'm playing Dark Souls II at the moment Tealbow, really enjoying it so far although I'm a big Souls fan. If you enjoyed Dark Souls, I guarantee you'll enjoy this even more. It's nothing revolutionary, but it does build on the strengths of the original and improves most aspects. It's only going to get better as well, with a second-generation of DSFIX well under way.

As a final note, you may want to check your graphics. Unlike Dark Souls, the sequel is pretty graphics-intensive especially in outdoor areas.

 

For myself, I'm mostly waiting for Assetto Corsa. For gamers who love cars, Assetto Corsa is something very special indeed. It's a "sim" racing game, designed for true car enthusiasts. Sims have always been niche games; they have a punishing learning curve and are notoriously expensive to make. When the GFC hit several years ago most developers "iced" their sim franchises as a result, Assetto Corsa is the first of a new generation-the first generation in around eight years.

 

Footnote: Sims are expensive because gamers want to drive the fastest, rarest cars. To put a car in a sim, you have to "map" it. Mapping involves fitting a real version of that car with a data recording rig, and then driving it at high speed. The expense comes from convincing a car maker to loan you the sort of car the players want, which are often worth upwards of a million US dollars.

I tried, but you can't turn off autosaving or save the game until there's a save file. Which it can't do, since there isn't an autosave at that point. I suppose I should try reinstalling again to see if anything's fixed by that, but I don't have the heart to play that tutorial again.

Saints Row IV, cause there's nothing like beating people to death with a big candy cane colored rubber penis called "The Penetrator". :D

 

Also anything that comes as a successor to Unreal Tournament 2004, I'm not big on Xonotic and Serious Sam 3 is more about the funny than about excessive force, still like SS3 though. I really need a game that revolves about nothing but pure violence with lots of blood and gore, preferably with Linux support as well so I don't have to rely on WINE. :smile:

And now for a lesson in baby feeding I learned today - never give babies anything with sugar or you'll have a very bad day. If you think nothing can go wrong if you put some sugar in your kid's disgusting tea to make it taste better, then you're in for a surprise - everything goes wrong! She doesn't rest nor stop at all, like a little screaming ball of non-stop horror that looks cute and cuddly.

 

So from now on, disgusting tea it is.

Wasteland 2 is something I've been keeping an eye on, but I'm going to wait until it comes out of Early Access before I get it.

 

I also pre-ordered Bound by Flame which comes out in 2 days, so yeah. :)
