Powerrr! And this is just the wireless (my ethernet cable isn't long enough yet for the wired).

Awesomeness! Fiber connection? Expect at least twice as high speeds through an ethernet cable.

Anyway, my results:

If i went for the second tier up i would be getting that, but the upload rate i would be stuck around 10mbps.

Lol we should start a thread connection wars, who has the fastest, yooouu win with that amazing fiber 121mbps :woot: :woot: :woot: :woot: :woot: :woot: connection.

Not fiber, coax. And I suspect Ub3rman would win instead if he'd get himself an ethernet cable.

120 Mbit is actually starting to become fairly normal 'round here though. If memory serves my country is somewhere around the top 10 countries with fastest Internet connections.

200 Mb/s is the fastest you'd be able to get here using coax, but that's just not worth the extra money.

Nope, actually. I just tested it again. My upload speeds increased a ton now that I'm wired, but the download is about the same. I am sharing a building with ~200 other people, though. It fluctuates between 50 and 120 Mbps.

Meanwhile in Chattanooga...

What in names of internet speed is that magical number that almost hit 1gbps :pinch: :pinch: :pinch: :pinch: :pinch: :pinch: :pinch: :pinch: Jelousy starting to take effect.

So cable is the way to go, sigh the prices here is unreal for a 120mbs connection, so i can dream. Still doesn't include "unlimited" data, so i might win in that respect.

I technicaly have a 27mbps connection, just it didn't reach the peak speed during that particular test.

Sigh the only 1gbps connection here in Canada is Alberta and Vancouver.

Chattanooga thumbed their noses at Comcast and hosted their own cable company. It's stupidly cheap, too.

I would totally live there, if I could find a job somewhere near. Just for that sweet sweet download speed.
