Well i am open to new ideas, if you can give me some actual data that it exists other then computer models and theoretical talk that never leads to anything other then speculation.

I look for evidence, if i don't see any i place it as a theory only, a theory with out anything to back it up. Computer models don't count. :geek:

Steven Hawking may have a good theory, but did he ever go out to actually look for one with proof and data that it exists, no. Even Cern had issues trying to find one, when they did the black hole experiment, they didn't find a single one, so they had to result to using computer models.

I am a strange one, but i have my reason to doubt theories, i can't in my mind perceive something that does not exist without data to back it up.

I saw this cosplay on Facebook, and it was too awesome for me not to post it here.

EDIT: Ooh, the next Pirates of the Caribbean might be filmed in Far North Queensland! Too bad I won't be here for it...

Ehm. It's not his job to "look for one". He's a theoretical physicist. in other words, he proposes theories based on factual data and proven theories. You know, like his Hawking radiation theory. (which, if true would further solidify the evidence for the existence of black holes)

Even Cern had issues trying to find one, when they did the black hole experiment, they didn't find a single one, so they had to result to using computer models.

Oh, so because CERN was unable to create (not find) any black holes, they do not exist?

if you can give me some actual data that it exists

What? Why should I go hunting for data that's readily available? Did the Canadian government suddenly enforce a ban on Google or something? If so, let me google that for you And no, obscure youtube vids by quacks without any kind of a degree in physics do not count.

Besides, why should I be the one to prove they do exist. Why don't you prove they don't exist? your opinion is a lot more controversial then mine after all. I'm sure those AIAS guys have gathered plenty of "evidence" disproving the existence of black holes.

While you're busy, look up quasars (which proof the existence of black holes), gravitational lensing (which further proves the existence of black holes) and general relativity to name a few.

I am a strange one, but i have my reason to doubt theories, i can't in my mind perceive something that does not exist without data to back it up.

And yet you are readily willing to believe the claims of some PhD-less nobody. Where was your doubt when you saw his claims?

Besides, unless you do have a degree in physics or just know a ton about physics, cosmology or anything closely related to it, there's no way you can make any kind of a well thought out judgment on whether his claims are true or false.

And how come you're so sure dark matter does exist, but you're highly skeptical about black holes? There's not exactly a lot of evidence for the existence of dark matter after all. Or is it just wishful thinking on your part. Maybe it's somehow used in Star Trek and you therefore would like it to be a real thing? (just like the warp drive)

I'll agree with you that you're a strange one though. Are we done now? I tire of having to keep disproving your claims about, well... about just about anything apparently. *cough* Australia *cough* censorship *cough*

Like i said if there is data, show me the links, i can't find any on the net regarding the fact they do exist. I don't believe i see, if its there i will argue the fact.

I saw a argument and i pursued it, that's not simply believing in the fact they don't exist, that just means I'm stubborn and i don't take the word theory seriously enough.

Oh and this take a look

We had not many hot humid days this August, Global warming ya right, climate change yes i agree, but not warming. The average peak temp was 30c with humidity.

Last year we broke records.

Well, global warming = generates more heat = waters around the globe vaporize more and faster = they form more and bigger clouds and eventually cause more rainfall.

I haven't researched it so this is just my imagination of what global warming does. Maybe it's something completely different and I am just theorizing out of my butt.

Its a false idea derived by false computer model that don't use the sun as factor of a contributor to the effect, not to mention the Magnetosphere has lots to do with it. Solar flares. There is a movement to take down global warming, Global warming was Changed in 2006 to climate change, but the model still exists and has not changed sense then.

Its been proven scientifically
