GOTY for it? That's great!

Now that I have found the problem upsetting my game play, I can start playing it. I have to wait though; until the monthly cycle of Gigabytes opens so I am not paying an extra $5.00 in gigabyte fees.

For some reason the plugin for the soundcard set up 3 extra's plugin's, and all of them to use the Nvidia Video cards sound plugin. I use the fiber optic sound jacks on the computer for the system. I had to disable the 3 that were not being used.

Now I just have to behave myself and quit trying to get Ultra High Quality video show, instead of Great Game Play Performance, out of the video card.

Applause, Applause.

I'm making the switch to SkyRE + PerMa today. I've been using Requiem for a long time, and while it's pretty good on the whole, I think it's time for a change.

PerMa is really cool. I had been using SPERG and I avoided Requiem because it changed too many things and there were too many mods I liked that would undoubtedly cause issues. When PerMa came out I immediately decided to re-install Skyrim and start fresh.

I'm using Duel with it as well, though I'm not using anything from SkyRe.

Maybe I'll take a break from DA:I and play Skyrim a bit. The 15 fps is probably gonna be bothersome after playing so much on my PS3 but oh well.

And I was going to quote the older post of your's as well, but I still haven't made in progress in Dragon Age...

Not on the main quest at least. I have over 200 power now. And I've hunted all the dragons. Collected all the shards (DISAPPOINTING).

And when I said I was bad at the Winter Palace maybe I wasn't as bad as I thought. I had around 97 approval at the highest, and ended with around the 70s or 80s. I just felt bad at it I guess.

Next time I play it I'll do the main stuff. I don't know that I really want to overdo the side things and ruin the game like I did with Far Cry 3.

Yeah, Requiem had lots of problems with other mods - particularly ones that made changes to the levelled lists. While a Bashed Patch sorted out the worst of it, Requiem had a tendency to limit enemy equipment to low-tier stuff, meaning that equipment in mods like Immersive Armours and Warmonger Armoury never showed up. While I'm not a high enough level to find them in my newer playthroughs yet, I'm hoping they will be available this time.

I'm using Duel, Combat Evolved, and SkyRE Enemy AI in my game. The enemies are pretty challenging without being overpowered, which is much better than what it was in Requiem. There is still the occasional problem where some enemies have much more health than the others (for example, most bandits have about 50-100 health, whereas a bandit boss might have 400) and that's a personal peeve of mine, but it's manageable at least.

I wish there was a mod that equalised global enemy health to be more consistent. I made a mod about a year or so ago, which decreased the health bonus multipliers for all enemies, however this didn't affect all NPCs, so it was flawed somewhat. It would be awesome if enemy health could be run through this formula: health = 50 + (health / 2) when they're spawned or something. That way, an NPC who normally had 100 health would still have 100 health, but an NPC who normally had 400 health would then have 250 - a much more reasonable value. Alas, I'm not sure if that's possible, and if it is, I have no idea how to do that.

My Skyrim performance is going down the drain, too. For some reason, when I start the game, it loads at about 30-40 frames, but after 5 or so minutes, it struggles to get 20 frames. There's a memory leak somewhere, but I can't find out where it is. That, or my laptop is overheating (I cleaned out the fan yesterday - it would quite clogged with dust - so hopefully there is an improvement).

Dragon Age is a bit of a mixed bag in terms of performance for me, though. If I'm in the Hinterlands or something, I only get about 20 frames per second, whereas if I'm at Skyhold, it's a breezy 40-60 frames. I think it's because I turned the meshes quality up to high to avoid the shiny hair bug, since it was more playable on the medium setting.

I haven't played Inquisition in about a week now (mostly because of work) so I still need to go hunt down some dragons. I haven't bothered with the shards because they didn't seem to do anything worthwhile, so I gave up.

Yeah, I rushed the Winter Palace because it was evil. In the end, I didn't even care about court approval, as long as I didn't get kicked out.

I liked Far Cry 3's progression, but then the ending ruined it (I chose the warrior ending - bad idea).

EDIT: Lol, sorry for the long post. Here, this image will make you feel better:

You should see the pixelated vomit blobs that is facial hair in Dragon Age on the PS3. At first I thought it was just not loaded, but they stay that way. The thicker stubble is more noticeable than the lighter, but both look like that. Visually that's really the only thing that bugs me. It doesn't look that bad and it actually runs so that's always good. Sometimes a few trees looks crappy like they didn't load all the way, but I haven't noticed it as much (maybe because I've been in the desert areas for a while). It drops performance fast in battles, which I assume is because of all the particles and all the lighting from skills.

Well it's 12:15 AM right now so I'm going to sleep. Since tomorrow today is Monday. Ugh. The weekend is already over.

For all who pray for it, play for it, and build it up to it during this time of Year!

I Hope you have a MERRY Holiday!

For all the rest of the people, I say, Thank you!

Thank you for giving some information too,

to those who help solve little nagging game crashing computer problems this past year.

The computer game ones we face day to day, because the rest of us are not as tech savvy

as all those Billionaire's with a compass that points to a treasure; instead of North.

Like Captain Jack Sparrows compass does.

If I ever get a chance to star in a movie I'd rather play outdoors

and with friends who are all aware of the

injured fellows, men and women who did for the movies, what computers do for it now.

Thanks Fallgals, thanks men who played in the plays from Shakespeare's days, some of whom also may be called the Fallgays, and thanks Fallguys!

Thanks! For all those daring stunts!

Never will the phrase for actors going on stage have the same potent meaning, "Break a Leg!"

 Stage right I WIN! curtain stage left

Applause, Applause.

Encore!

I tried putting a christmas hat on my avatar, but it didn't look good because the dog's head isn't in the centre. :ermm:

Also, I seem to have gotten all the luck with Heroes of Dragon Age recently. About a week ago, I got a legendary Queen of the Blackmarsh (a dragon), about 3 days ago I got a legendary Crow Zevran from an event, yesterday I got a legendary nug called Schmooples, and today I got yet another legendary Grey Warden Oghren. I've now got 10 legendaries.

Schmooples is deadly. I didn't take Schmooples seriously. Mistake.
