I see SO many people complaining about the graphics and I have no idea why they are bitching about it. The game looks good, what the f*** are people expecting? Just because Witcher 3 looks amazing doesn't mean that everything else has to look just as good, and personally that means jack s*** to me and many other people who can't afford a better PC and can't even play games like Witcher 3. Honestly the gaming industry has put up such high standards everyone acts like a stuck up snob, moaning about feature x not being in the game and how the graphics aren't life-like enough. Appreciate the damn experience you are given by the hundreds of people who worked on it for years.

I agree that people complaining about the graphics, just because other games look better, is a bit silly. But, they'll come snivelling back... they always do.

Thing is, people were bitching about The Witcher 3's graphics. There's just no satisfying the internet.

This reply... Is amazing.

Okay, phew! I thought you were aiming that at me for a second there, heh.

While I admit that the graphics weren't as visually impressive as I was expecting, they're still good (marginally better than other Bethesda titles) and they can always be improved with modding (no doubt after a few months it'll be looking as good, or if not better, than many other AAA games). Besides, Bethesda's games aren't about the graphics (mostly) - it's about the open world, choices and character development. And mods.

I'd never say anything bad about my friends, but your post did remind me of the annoying people, which is why I said that at that time, and I knew you'd think I was talking about you, so I put a disclaimer so you know I wasn't :P

But yes, I am excited for it, I need to obtain money to get a better rig so I can play Fallout 4 how it's meant to be played.

Did somebody say snivelling?

Iv000 is probably the only one that'll understand what I'm on about.

I thought you said you won't post here :P go work on your assignment and stop browsing the internet, you silly person.

One does not simply resist posting in this thread. Especially when it comes to Fallout or the word "snivelling".

EDIT: Some people reckon that the protagonist in Fallout 4 might be voiced because of the, "Let's go, pal," he says to the dog in the trailer. I personally doubt that the protagonist would be voiced (especially considering the effect it would have on quest mods and such) but it would be interesting if true.

EDIT 2: Fallout 4 is available for pre-purchase on Steam. Already got it!

Fallout 4 Wins! Pre-purchased?!

Until Robin Scotts, Dark0ne, affiliates offer a Collectors Edition I won't buy it. AND THEN I won't play it until usual number of video card settings are figured out so the game hang for Nvidian Vid Cards and a few other bugs are worked out.

Buy Collectors Editions and if never break the seal on three items you can sell them for enough to start gaming service and compete them.

As soon as I saw it, I had to buy it. Impetuous, I know, but it was irresistible.

The Witcher 3 is also getting pretty complex, now. I'll make a spoiler so that I don't wreck anything for those who haven't got up to where I am, and I'll put a spoiler in the spoiler for certain parts if I deign it necessary.

(Major plot spoiler)

I found Ciri today - got back to Kaer Morhen as well and now I'm preparing for a big battle.

However, that's not the only thing interesting that has happened. You see, Yennefer invited Triss to help out, and well... (Early-game character interaction spoiler)

Geralt couldn't resist having a kiss with Triss earlier in the game (he is a conflicted man, heh), so there is a bit of visible tension between these three characters.

But the thing is that I actually like Triss more than Yennefer, but I think Geralt himself would choose Yen, because she was who he originally fell in love with (Triss was using Geralt in TW2 while he had amnesia, but then fell in love) so things are pretty bunjity at the moment. If I ever do a second playthrough, I think I'll make Geralt go for Triss instead of Yennefer.

But yes, enough of that! Back to Fallout 4 discussions...

Also, I bought ARK as well - haven't played it yet, but it looks like fun. Maybe once the next patch is released I'll have a go (apparently the next one lets you create your own lobbies, so that will be good). If anyone doesn't know what ARK is, it's like the Jurassic Park version of the Hunger Games. In video game format.

Steam has mixed reviews at the moment, but I think most of the poor reviews are from players who couldn't play the game after the rocky alpha-release (lobbies all full, poor performance, etc.).

A modding tool on release, metro networks for crawling around, a radio DJ as good as Three Dog (or Three Dog himself, I did get his antenna and put it on that giant stone dildo to boost the signal) and a 64-bit DX11 engine. That's what I'm hoping for.

Oh, that reminds me! You know how there are the flashbacks in the trailer? What if you're a survivor from the war (maybe as a child) and then you exit the vault some years later? Perhaps Fallout 4 will be earlier in the timeline than Fallout 3?

Just some thoughts I've been having.

Also, from what I can tell, the faces will be much better than Skyrim. I know this isn't the best screenshot, but the guy's does look quite high quality.

Damn you, obscure angle! Also, tight clothing, much?!

Well, control vaults were set to open after 10-20 years which would make it possible. However, there's way too many vertibirds in the trailer (they were experimental in 2077, meant to enter service is 2085 with only Enclave capable of manufacturing them decades later), that flying fortress, and way too much rebuilding to be done in just a 20-30 year span tops (since the vault guy in the trailer seems be about 20-30).

It could go either way I guess, we'll have to wait and see.

I wasn't going to, but then Fallout 4 happened and I was too excited to not to.
