Well, I got my armour into the game fine, but there's weird shadows and stuff on it in exteriors. I read online how to fix it so that's alright... but I have to redo the .nif stuff again! :pinch:

 

 

EDIT: Fixed 'em. Also, got all the pieces in-game now so it's getting there!

The dismemberment modifiers need to be tweaked some more (you can see the pants clipping through the boots). Then, after that, I just need to make the female version and possibly a sword to go along with it. :smile:

 

 

EDIT: Okay... the female version is quite a lot harder than I thought it would be. The _0 mesh looks fine, but the morpher makes the _1 mesh waaaay too large (looks like an ape, not a human female) so I've been trying to fix that. No success so far...

Match the helmet to the rest, smooth the metal? I'll download and use that.

 

Also add a CBBE version, a UNP version, IA compatibility and integration, MCM, SkyRe version, Add an animated cloak, and a crotchless version. THEN I may consider even endorsing if your lucky :teehee:

I was wondering why the helmet didn't seem to fit it! I forgot to smooth the metal... thanks Moto! I shall do that presently.

Well I'm still having some problems with the vanilla female mesh, so CBBE and UNP are stretches at the moment. :tongue:

 

As for the other stuff... yeah nah. :laugh:

I'm still tweaking the pommel, so it's fairly bland at the moment. The crossguard cylinders are another thing that I'm not sure about - should I keep the inner spherical bevel?

Crossguard might depend on what you come up with for the pommel? Leave it spherical while you fiddle with the pommel, see if some inspiration comes. You could make that blade stay, at least looks blade like at the far end of the pommel, and curve the guard opposite of the curve on the crossguard...just a thought. It'd be cool if Skyrim made use of pommel, say with a pommel strike as two-hand block-bash.

Ohhhh... yes, I forgot about this post. Well, it turns out that I've actually finished the entire thing. :tongue:

It's not as shiny as my other swords because I'm using the same cubemap that the armour is using (to match the look) so yes. I'm still considering whether or not to brighten the cubemap so it is a tad more shiny, though...

 

Haven't seen it in-game but I plan to test that out soon.

 

 

EDIT: Okay, had the reduce the colour of the leather because it was too saturated, but that's pretty much all that needed fixing. Oh, and a little bit of the crossguard was coloured black for some reason, but I found the cause and fixed that too. Also also, I redid the metal so it now looks much better.

(I know the scabbard is clipping but I couldn't be bothered to move it further out of the way :P)

Fixed the pauldrons on the male armour so they don't move with the head node. Need to do the same with the female version...
