DuskDweller
In response to post #15394125. #15395040, #15400615, #15400745, #15401910, #15404235, #15405440, #15405790, #15409515 are all replies on the same post. This could happen when your previous NMM was manually moved somewhere else from the starting install folder: since NMM supports multiple "installations", each config file is saved in a different subfolder based on the NMM runtime location. It could be that when you installed this new version, you put it somewhere different from the old version you were using, thus since NMM didn't find a config file relative to that position (or maybe a very old config file), it either used the old values stored in that file or when it asked you to point it to the Mods and Install Info folders you accepted the defaults instead of selecting the ones you were using before.I hope I was clear enough.. DuskDweller
In response to post #15407075. #15409185 is also a reply to the same post. Also if you can't locate the folders you were using before, you could search your HDs for the installLog.xml file (it's in the Install Info folder, and the Mods folder should be right beside that). DuskDweller
In response to post #15410995. It means you set the previous Mods folder but not the previous Install Info folder, that folder is where the mod install registry is stored.

That could explain it. Although i don't remember moving NMM manually i did have it installed somewhere else a long time ago (But uninstalled that when i took a Skyrim break). And NMM didn't even ask me about the locations it just started uninstalling the mods as soon as is started it...Anyways i'm back to version 0.49.3 now and i'm staying with that for now. At least until i start a new playthrough cause then i get a clean install anyways.

Hello Basehead64 :) !!! Revert back to Fallout Mod Manager (or whichever one applies) . Use FO3edit (or whichever one applies) and then You won't have to worry about a Master Plan. But I'm rather concerned because it seems that it is no longer - Just a Game :( !!!!! Oh Well, The Best to You :) !!! Anoxeron
akmatov
Just right now setting up an XP / offline computer to play some of the games that don't play nicely with Win7. So happy to hear you will continue to support the old XP OS so those great games don't just fade into the mist. Great Jobs
Jamethiel
I just upgraded, making sure that the path to my mod folder was correct, but my old installLog was in the same folder as all of my mods. The upgrade would not allow me to put both in the same folder, so I put the installLog in a sub-folder in the file with all of my mods. It worked beautifully. The only thing is that all of my intact mods are deactivated. I consider reactivating them a small price for the use of such a wonderful program as NMM. Thanks guys. MODinsane
Im not sure I will install 50.2 yet until all of this is sorted out with NMM. My install is the default for NMM, I don't have it in a separate file. I am using 47.9 currently, just to be safe.
Jabaduhut
In response to post #15418455. I also have this same problem and reactivating all my mods is not an option for me. Any chance this is being addressed? Because as of right now uninstalling and updating mods is a hassle I'm not willing to deal with.
