Arthmoor
Would it be possible to have the spoilers tag function as intended within the file comments area? Right now that tag only works in the forum itself and people who post to file entries via the forum are not aware that the information they think they're hiding is in plain view to those reading through the file area. LHammonds
I've noticed the lack of a CSS equivalent for the *Nexus sites. I used a hack-job-work-around by using a combination of two BBCode tags....except now I forgot what it was that I did. **scratches head** EDIT: I think I used a color tag to set the text color to the Nexus site's background color in the comment log. Something like this: [ spoiler ] [ color = #FFFFFF ] hidden text here [ /color ] [ /spoiler ] You just need to figure out what the color code needs to be to hide the text. On the forums, you get a a proper hidden rollup. Expanding the spoiler block shows the colored text but it is highly unlikely the color will be invisible based on the forums background color (which is different from the Nexus background color) LHammonds
phoneyLogic
ou just need to figure out what the color code needs to be to hide the text. There is a color called "transparent"[color=transparent]hidden text[/color] hilight here >>> hidden text <<< Haven't tried on the file pages yet. So maybe it works, maybe not  Edit: works
ub3rman123
You can do transparent? Man, and I spent all that time figuring out the exact shade of the background, too.. (#272727). At least that's the forum's background. Not sure about TESNexus.
LHammonds
The point of setting the color to the background color of the *Nexus site is so that it hides the text while on the *Nexus site but if you are viewing the posts from the Forum (either light or dark theme), you can still click the spoiler button to reveal the text...although colored, it should still be visible on the forums... It is not very difficult to get the exact color code of anything you see on a webpage or application (I did not have time yesterday to x-plain). Just press the Print Screen button which captures the entire desktop (or ALT + Print Screen to capture just the active window). Then open a image editor like Paint.NET and paste the captured image (Edit --> Paste --> Expand Canvas). Then you use the Color Picker tool (keyboard shortcut = K) to click the color you want to know about and it will display the details in the "Colors" window (usually have to click the "More" button to see RGB / Hex values). Nexus forums color = #272727*Nexus site colors = #404040 (they all have the same background color) LHammonds

Which contains a color picker tool like the one you mentioned.(1 click, color pick. 2 clicks, viewer)
Arthmoor
I should have been slightly more clear I guess. What I mean is the tag itself isn't recognized, not that the CSS isn't coloring it right: http://img32.imageshack.us/img32/6633/spoilertag.jpg
LHammonds
I should have been slightly more clear I guess. What I mean is the tag itself isn't recognized, not that the CSS isn't coloring it right:I think everybody understands perfectly what you meant and what is going on. This is something only Dark0ne can fix. He has to add a CSS entry to the *Nexus sites that will convert the BBCode tag into a background color change of #404040. What I and others were talking about is a work-around until this happens...which looks like this: http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee11/Conan_Lon/Oblivion/TESNexus/SpoilerWorkaround.jpg
LHammonds
Work-around no longer necessary. Dark0ne added spoiler code support for the *Nexus sites! Thanks Dark0ne! LHammonds
LadyMilla
Sorry for necroing this thread, but I thought I'd rather add my comments here instead of starting a new thread: I've recently made a comment in this file's comment thread (--> Here ), and as I included a fairly long list of loaded mods, I used the spoiler tag to hide it. The problem is: - the Spoiler tag works as expected in the forum thread;- on fallout3nexus.com, on the Comments tab, the tag appears as a series of gray lines of various length, defeating the purpose of using the spoiler tag (to save space) completely. The bug affects all browsers that I use (Chrome, Firefox 4 beta, and IE 8).
