Chaosblade02
Its the entire game with all its features free? I'm bored, I might DL it and try it, even though I don't usually like MMOs, free is free.

Kazakovich
What's the catch? It must be some sort of temporary trial period thing...
VictoriaG
It gives you a run down of all the features you get compared with the premium/vip packages.
Vindekarr
Well, I'm a former member-got all the DLC and I got premium. It's worth it guys. This game isnt WoW level of quality, but it's got a lovely helpful kind(and mature) community and some good fun. It's not the sort of game you'll replay, but take it from a level capped player: it's definitely worth a look, and the community is EXCELLENT, you'll never have to worry about barrens-ing that's for sure. And some of the classes, while they're all VERY standard issue, are great fun. I mean, musicians, berzerkers, officers, snipers, and the ever amusing Guardian(basicaly a solid lump of armour, all MIT and block stats, with only two attacks)
evilneko
What's the catch? It must be some sort of temporary trial period thing... The catch is the game itself is probably on its way out, so don't make any long-term plans. ;)
Vindekarr
Just had a scout around and it's just fine. You've got to pay for premium content as our esteemed moderator stated, and I beleive you've got to buy the discs, but it's worth a look, really. LOTRO can be a lonely game sometimes. It's only non-solo content comes high in the level cap, and you'll not be reaching that for motnhs. it's long, and a bit grindy through the middle levels, but it's a good game, and worth playing. It's most fundamental problem however is it's reliance on payed DLCs, they increase the level cap by 20, add the final portions of each class, and add the most potent equipment. It's completely possible to play this game without the DLC, but damned if you can find a group for a raid that's not DLC.
JimboUK
I've just installed this and played for about 20 mins, looks OK so far. No one has told me to go and kill 20 of something yet so that's improvement over those free Korean things. Has DirectX 11 features too, damned if I can see where though. http://img28.imageshack.us/img28/60/lotroclient201009152327.jpg http://img810.imageshack.us/img810/1752/12551460.jpg http://img204.imageshack.us/img204/4021/86332238.jpg
