Thank you Dark One, I appologise for not providing enough info, here is everything

running browser--IE Version 7 ver 7.0.5730.13, 128 bit

Resolution 1680 x 1050

Running Norton 360 ver 4.2.0.12

Yahoo Messenger and browser plugins from messenger

copy of original problem

I cannot make any comments on any pages, I can edit my comments (a popup comes up to edit) if I try to add a comment I get an IE error.

Error line 54

char 2

Error-could not get the display properly, invalid arguement

code:0

I have no idea what all that means, but am hoping you do.

does this mean I need to change a setting in Internet exploder?

or is it a problem with the new adding comments

I have tried the ctrl+f5 several times, it did not help

Thank you for any assistance

EDIT

PS, I have cleared my cache 2 times, removed Yahoo browser plugins, except for the browser protection, disabled messenger plugins.

I am aware that IE is not the best browser in alot of peoples opinion, but it is what I am used to using, if I have to I will switch Browsers for use on this site.

Working fine over here on Google Chrome Browser - no issues after just normal refreshing via (F5)

Maybe clear your cache, close your browser, and then retry.

Edit: IExplorer in my experience is the worst of all browsers.

OK just switched to Google Chrome, and It fixed the problem,

So it is obviously a problem with Internet Exploder living up to its name :p

nice spell checker in Chrome also, will be very helpful for phat phinger typist like me :)

Disregard my previous post, unless you just want to see if you can fix IE

Chrome is a really really fast browser, looks like it lacks allot of the security features I am used to having and depending on, might try Firefox as well and see if it has additional features I am used to. Or maybe use Chrome for posting here, and IE for downloading, will see which works better

Just installed and tested Firefox ver 3.6, might use Firefox for all downloads and Chrome for the speed of browsing and posting, Chrome is amazingly fast

Chrome all the way for browsing - Safari is just as fast and almost identical - i use 3 browsers, those two and Firefox since im a greasemonkey -_-

Once you start using chrome you wont touch IE again. Safari is just as good as an alternative.

Glad i helped you or anyone else who has problems related/unrelated to this.
