"I knew it!" Alenee says quietly to Linden. "If you've got any dispel magic spells, now would be a good time to use them!" She draws another arrow, aiming for the "carrier" of another shovel. She releases the arrow, then without waiting to see its effect, draws and fires at the last surviving shovel "person".

Linden lets loose another arrow into the next tool (again going for a chest shot).

"Sorry...not my type of magic...." She pause to grab more arrows from her quiver.

"Let's keep firing up the line of tools until they break for it or they are all on the ground. Then we can question them."

Alenee and Linden

Alenee's second shot rattles off the shovel, but her third drops another tool, resulting in another "Oomph". Linden's second drops a pick, with the same sound as the result. The other tools stop dead in their tracks, their resolve apparently fading under the withering storm of arrows coming from the two archers in front of them.

Taking advantage of their hesitation, Alenee begins firing as fast as she can at the invisible tool carriers. Not so much concerned with precision accuracy, she wants to drive them off or force a surrender as soon as possible.

Linden checks to the sides to make sure that they are not getting flanked (i.e. movement in the bushes) and also looks to see if anything is happening of at the door of the tomb. Making sure that they are safe, she will continue to fire into the tool carriers.

Now concerned with giving cover to Linden, Alenee shifts her priority to the tool carriers closest to the tomb enterance. Though a bit hard for only a single archer, she tries to lay down a wall of arrows to pin her opponents in place, taking whatever damage she can do as a nice benefit.

Alennee and Linden

As the arrows fly through the air, more and more of the tools go down. Though they have stopped, they do not, however retreat. Finally, an arrow passes past the final tool, and the now-familiar 'Ummph' sound is heard, followed by a wail from somewhere in the distance. The hills and tombs cause the wail to echo, making location of the original sound near impossible. The 'guards' begin to stir, and the night-frogs and crickets resume their nightly concert.
