Site slowness this weekend

I learned and am still learning modding but I just finished re doing my Mod Rusheeda as a Wolf follower and she is like no other wolf follower that I've seen, I have used and looked at just about everyone up here, and because it is a tribute to my real life wolf I made her to be unique and she is as good as Sofia the happy follower which I used as a guide when putting her together, she may not look like much at the surface but she is a whole lot of wolf under the hood, it has taken me at least 9 months and thousands of sleepless nights and days of reading and trial and error and re dues to finally have her to a worthy state for the nexus. She's not just a thrown together Follower from watching a youtube tutorial to make a basic Follower, and now I have the greatest respect for those that have contributed so much of their time and effort to giving the community so many wonderful mods for skyrim, some that fix things that were horribly broken by Bethesda from the jump start of skyrim to those that have changed the whole world of skyrim to make it a more cosmetically beautiful place to adventure in.

Thank you to all you modders of Skyrim!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You should write it on a T-shirt.

Im not trying to e negative, but its true, all i see is nudity mods, and armor mods. is this all moding is abot? stuff i dont want my kids seeing? i just want mods that actualy work, and are needs. and i tried to mod, but the creation kit crashes every 10 minutes, and its full of bugs. plus here is no mods to ake see through windows exept one made by somewelch guy and its only for parts of whiterun and is abandoned. most other mods are the same, unfinished and abandoned. some look good but needs a 4 grand computer to run them.

WOW, what mods have you been following. I see tons of new mods being posted, several good ones on the hot list too. This game has been out for several years now, you cannot expect the same volume of mods now as when it first came out. Also, this game is not suitable for children hence the mature rating on it. If there are mods that you find offensive, don't use them, there are plenty of others, you just have to look for them.

The CK definitely has it's issues, but I have not experienced any major issues with it. Most of us are grateful for the modders that keep their mods up to date instead of just abandoning them once they are published.

My two cents for what is worth
Cheers

Is it just me or have the download speeds been stupidly slow lately??? I am only getting an average of less than 100kb with all downloads........insane! This has been going on for sometime now, and I have to wonder what in the world is going on. Usually I get an average of about 500kb a far cry from what the download rates have been for the last two weeks.

Is there an issue with NMM that is causing such slow download rates, or is the problem with the site itself?

As you're a Premium Member, what file server are you downloading from?

Hi Dark0ne, I generally use Dallas, but when it is slow I switch around. Dallas usually gives me the fastest speeds, at one point as high as 920kbs. Rare, but still.

Hmmm. Think I just resolved the problem. It turns out my WiFi was cooked. I tested the difference plugged directly into the internet without the WiFi and the download speeds from the Cdn sites were as high as 1000kb plus. Awesome....
Once I took the WiFi out of the equation, it was like night and day. Guess I need to get a new one.

Thanks for inquiring Dark0ne and sorry for all the confusion. It just decided to start acting up at the same time the site was having some slow down issues. Typical.
