Terminator genisys except if I'm wrong. It offers very good action scenes, charismatic actors, the scenes never get too sentimental or intimistic, and despite a hard-to-get scenario ( with very confusing explanations about the snowball effect the time travels generate) I had a good time watching it.

Here's what happened in 1968 when Andy Williams was talked into trying to appeal to the 1960's psychedelic culture:

See how far you can make it before the nausea begins, and not from the cheesy graphics. Viewers turned it off in droves due to this opening when it was originally broadcast. The program (which was a semi-special, Andy's weekly show had been cut to six specials/year, and this was one of them in '68) was a disaster both in the ratings and for his career, which never fully recovered. Younger generations saw through it like tissue paper, older generations shook their heads and mourned the loss of another one to the drug culture. It's really a shame, because imo some later bits in this same program are among the most sublimely perfect music ever recorded in any medium e.g.:

This is the tail end of longer S&G segment that includes Mrs. Robinson and Old Friends/Bookends. The first of those was mimed and forgettable but the latter was live and beyond stunning imo. The clip was on Youtube for years but I haven't found it there recently.

"Prince of Darkness" by John Carpenter, then decided to watch the rest of his "trilogy of apocalypse". "The thing" who made me get very wary about the neighbor's dog, then finished by "At the mouth of madness" wich was my favorite before i watch "Prince of Darkness". This film tells so much things, I love the way the homeless people are brought round the church and in the street at the sight of everyone, like the denial you cant ignore anymore. And also about the egoism and stupidity of man, The reverand that brings the researcher there and who pass the last part of the movie hiding from the possessed ones, In the end he throw an axe in the mirror to prevent the anti-god to come in... then we can hear him say "We stopped it... I stopped it" after saluate the common effort he have the pretention to bring back everything on him. What about the young woman that sacrified herself to prevent the possessed girl to bing back the anti-god a little bit earlier? Will she be remembered? no... Now she will live in a dimension of torment, Dirty old f*#@er... And there is still so many things to say about that movie, Carpenter is definitely in my favorite realisators That lad is the filmic Lovecraft of modern days no doubt about that.
