jbhoy90
Hi Guys, My Mod Request for Skyrim from one of you lovely talented people is the Aesir armor that Baldur wears on the cover of the Too Human game. I think if it was done right it would fit relatively well in the game.Looks kinda similar to the ESO Breton Knight armor kindly (and brilliantly) made by Newermind43. Thanks for reading. Modders on Nexus can't make armors based off of other games, as Nexus Rules consider it Copyright Infringement, even if the object was made from scratch. The said objects would be immediately taken down, and the modder probably banned. It'd be best to ask around somewhere else.

There's a collection of TERA armors that's pretty successful on Nexus. The very popular Triss armor is from The Witcher 2. I don't know exactly what the rule is, but it is obviously not as strict as you are suggesting.

Gilbey2031
Too Human; now that's a game I haven't heard about in quite a while. Personally, it's one of my all-time favorite games, I'd love to see a few of the armor sets make their way to Skyrim Edited October 25, 2015 by Gilbey2031

Thus, it not copy right protected and nexus rule does not apply. Edited October 25, 2015 by Boombro

Armors ported from one game to another are forbidden, unless the creators of said game allow it, which is why armors from the Witcher games are on the nexus for Skyrim. An example of a game armor created from scratch, is the Lich King armor from the Warcraft series, for both Oblivion and Skyrim, and there are many other examples to be found. Clearly if that wasn't the case, they would have been reported and removed by now.

I was kind of aware of the copyright thing although I have seen plenty of armour etc on the nexus from games that aren't moddable (WOW, Tera, Halo, Mortal Kombat, Thief, ) and as the game Too Human has been removed from all stores etc because of the lawsuit do the rules still apply? Another suggestion then, as I am Scottish, a kilt mod like William Wallace in Braveheart movie, I know there are a few re textures etc. but they aren't really like what the real thing was with the sash over the shoulder and a light cloth tunic underneath.
