Hexxagone
We go from Skyrim that had boots, gloves, body and helmets. In Fallout 4 the outfits are all one piece except for the headpiece, so many NPCs walking around looking like each other.
Boombro
Fallout 3 and fallout NV didn't had that, TES has nothing to do with FO games. Past fo games had full body suits. But Skyrim has no the pants oblivion used to have. Edited November 17, 2015 by Boombro
DoctorKaizeld
and Morrowind had an even better armor customization system then Oblivion.
Boombro
I wish the return of the layer armor system carry over to TES games.Maybe crafting that makes us able to change armor type.

And what about the seperate left leg, right leg, chest piece, left arm, right arm stuff?

Vagrant0
Clothing system is more or less fine in FO4. The real problem is that there isn't a whole lot of variety in what people are wearing, and not too much you can do with armor before things still begin to look similar. Previously it wasn't so much a problem since you really didn't interact with too many NPCs in close proximity. Now that you can have 10-20 NPCs per settlement and a dozen or so settlements, you see alot of repetition.

Boombro
Hell no, if that means armors will be one piece then I dont want it anywhere near TES That is not what layer armor means, and that a fo thing to have one piece. It not what I meant anyways. Layer armor was a thing in morrowind, you get to pick left or right arm, boots, skirt (or was is legs?) , shoulders, chest and head from any armor you want. That gives you the ability to mix and match and look awesome, mismatched or scary in the best way possible. You really don't want that near TES? vertex23
The only thing I'm sad about is that your Pipboy - once again - stops the left side of your armor showing up
