ilkaysf
I loved this game. I played 15 hours but I finisihed only 2 main quests and 4 other quests. Crafting, exploration and instant events which are occuring when I go to anywhere in the map are very attractive and time consuming things for me. Of course game has some negative things and bugs but mods can fix them :) So thank you Bethesda for this great game.
Andydigital80
I'm almost up to 5 days play time and I'm loving it, it's my first Fallout game too. Sure there are some minor issues with performance here and there, especially inside the institute, but for the most part it's a very well put together game in my opinion. Definitely loving all the mods on PC too. It never was an option getting it on console for me, can't stand less than 60 fps.
abaris
...could you please tell me what I'm missing? Well, first, tastes are different. So something appealing to me might not appeal to you and vice versa. Secondly, Obsidian are much better storytellers than Bethesda has ever been. And FNV was created by Obsidian. I knew that when I bought that game and fully expected a rather shallow narrative and rather bland characters. By lowering my expectations, I was pleasantly surprised in some instances and not disappointed by others, since I got what I expected.
geekminxen
DimosZargarda, I don't think FO4 is bad, I'm glad to have it, and I enjoyed playing it well enough. I just didn't enjoy it as much as I loved FO3 and NV. It's not a bad game; it just isn't as good as the others in my (and apparently a few other people's) opinion(s). I appreciate that people have offered their thoughts here with very little snarkiness. I started this thread to hear what other people loved about the game, to see if I was missing something or just not "getting" something about it. I think that question has been well answered for me, so thank you to everyone who contributed to the intelligent discussion.
