Enforcer2200
With the new power armor frame it opens up whole new ideas for mods. For when the new G.E.C.K. comes out, would there be a modder could do a gundam series parts? The other idea that i had was making the armor frame bigger and making like a gaint robot. Boombro
Power armors that MUST happen:Iron man.Gundam.Big daddy However, keep in mind that power armor modding seems harder than modding normal armors.
TeamBacon
I think it will be pretty easy once Nifskope is 100% ready. I haven't actually seen the file structure for power armors yet, but It just seems like it is made up of modular parts. All speculation on my part until I get my hands on the files and start sculpting.

Mods? And don't forget paint jobs, you need to make them for the armor. Edited December 14, 2015 by Boombro

I doubt any of that will be an issue as long as the modeler stays withing the confines of the original collision boxes for each piece. It looks to me like each modular piece is just assigned a location on top of the frame, and the frame is actually what animates. Proof of this being that the frame without any armor is still fully animated. As far as paint jobs, if you want to make a different texture for 'titanium' plating as opposed to 'military paint'... well... there is a button in Photoshop for that, takes 15 to 20 seconds maybe, a few minutes if you are really a stickler for tweaking the values. But, like I said, all speculation until I get my hands on this stuff to start making my own. But from what I have seen so far, it seems easier than trying to skin the entire power armor as one mesh like in New Vegas or Fallout 3.
LordSarcasm
Hardpoints for mounting on-board weapons. I'm thinking one on the shoulder for heavy weapons and rifles like Predator or War Machine, and one on each arm for the smaller weapons.

To be precise, the head and shoulders are far too high up and the head feels too big. Personal taste really, would love to see something more scaled around the size of Warhammer 40k styled armors. jcdenton2012
How about your power armor can trash talk on behalf of its user. For example, you jump from a tall building and land with a BOOM while holding a supersledge, then the suit would say something to the effect of, "I am the hammer!!" Pretty much, depending upon the type of weapon you are using, your suit will say something snarky while your murdering people. Below I listed a few that I would like randomly spoken. Flame Thrower: "Who wants it extra crispy," "Burn baby burn," "Do you smell what the rock is cooking?"Gatling Laser: "Now this is a mans weapon," "I have barrels of steel," "Suffer not the mutant to live."Minigun: "Mulched to perfection," "Dodge this," "Eat lead."Plasma Rifle: "Suck my green balls," "It began with goo and now it ends with goo," "I ain't afraid of no ghost."10mm pistol: "Size doesn't matter," "small but deadly," "It's how you use it."Shotgun: "What barn?" "Can't miss," "Shell'e Bellz," "You might hear some ringing between your ears."
SayinNuthin
Anything that gets us away from the 'American Football' aesthetic would be nice.. Sorry but has the player ever, in any game been required to body-check an opponant in combat? So why is the armour modled on protective clothing designed specifically to do that? Google images of medieval plate armour, sure lots of shoulder protection agains strikes (diagonal downward strokes) which is the most dangerous and powerful blow an agent can attempt and this 'look' has been exagerated for effect, but for me its taken to absurdity now especially since all it does in the case of balistic weapons is offer a larger target! If you can see it, you can hit it and if you can hit it, you can kill it anyone? Not so much in the age of archery but modern weapons... Here's some alternative 'looks' http://www.artic.edu/aic/collections/files/aic/depts/arms2.jpghttp://lowres-picturecabinet.com.s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/101/main/2/429366.jpg And tell me that last isn't beautiful... But there were lots of instances of 'shoulder-heavy' armours through history but one of the reasons it seems to have been used was for the intimidation-effect, however as no NPC in any game seems to be even slightly intimidated by the Player-character walking round in this power armour shall we assume they have all just looked at you and thought "Hmm, nice big target.."
Xanados13
Space Marine armor will definitely be made, with power swords/chainsaw blades, and actual power fists that you can equip in power armor. I played a titan-fall mod in New Vegas which was awesome, having them drop in would be a fantastic idea. Starcraft terran marine frames are another idea, EVEN the protoss zealot armor with f*#@ing psi-blades MMMmmm I've already seen an Iron man Hulk-buster skin for the X frame design, so I think it's safe to say Iron man will be made. You know I bet someone will probably make every Iron man armor there is. And then there is Star Wars - Chrome trooper power armor anyone? Darth Vader power armor hmm? I bet someone will overhaul the Brotherhood of Steel to be the empire, with storm trooper BOS soldiers and the Star Destroyer Prydwen haha. OMGomg, I just came in my pants thinking of that Darth Vader power armor - if it actually had his breathing sound effects. :ermm:  :nuke: :nuke: :nuke: :nuke: :nuke:
