BlindLookout
I'm at a point where I've beat the game with most (possibly all) of the endings, explored 95% of the locations, and gone through all the companion quests. Yeah, I have no life. So now I'm looking for random fun things to do. Example: INSTITUTE GENOCIDE This ends up being way more fun than I expected! When you first meet Father agree to help him so that the doors to the Institute are unlocked. Then kill him. Fight off the coursers, synths, and scientists that come for you. Head into each of the departments, wipe everyone out. Go back down that short elevator over by where Father's corpse is. MASSIVE FIGHT, one of the most fun fights in the game as long as you have plenty of grenades!Sadly, after you leave, this affects nothing except that the Institute is "your enemy" now and you do those quests... because in Fallout 4 nothing you say or do matters... but it's a fun ride, better than most final battles in the game. Anybody else find something fun to do?
Ethreon
The best ending to the game I saw so far was the one Alchestbreach made up.

That they will make you their king? You just killed their leader brah.

robhartman9
I did a playthrough without the Minutemen. I just left them in Concord the whole time. Taking the castle solo was a lot of fun it was like an almost endless stream of fodder for my wounding fiery gatling laser. Like shooting fish in a barrel and when I was done there was enough roast crab to feed the entire commonwealth for a couple of days

Fired one single mini nuke up the ramp and took ALL of them out  http://i229.photobucket.com/albums/ee275/EVIL85SSP/2015-11-22_00001_zpsusskoola.jpghttp://i229.photobucket.com/albums/ee275/EVIL85SSP/2015-11-22_00005_zpszn6surwg.jpghttp://i229.photobucket.com/albums/ee275/EVIL85SSP/2015-11-22_00002_zpsrp8v9moq.jpghttp://i229.photobucket.com/albums/ee275/EVIL85SSP/2015-11-22_00003_zpsl9eaavl2.jpghttp://i229.photobucket.com/albums/ee275/EVIL85SSP/2015-11-22_00004_zpsgmwvccox.jpg
tomomi1922
I did a playthrough without the Minutemen. I just left them in Concord the whole time. Taking the castle solo was a lot of fun it was like an almost endless stream of fodder for my wounding fiery gatling laser. Like shooting fish in a barrel and when I was done there was enough roast crab to feed the entire commonwealth for a couple of days Question, with these energy weapons don't you deal with tons of persistent ash piles that refuses to clean up (unlike dead bodies). So dreaded by this problem that I remove all energy weapons from my settlers. Or this problem is resolved by the last patch? oldspice2625
It's a Gamebryo thing... it will never be fixed because it's a limitation in the engine. They refuse to abandon a 13 year old engine, so you get stupid s#*! like that happening.
robhartman9
I prefer the smoldering ash piles to the bodies because I am too lazy to drag the bodies away
