Given the expanding scope of this mod and its side-quests, I may include a brief, alternate questline for players that side with the Rieklings. It would be much shorter and zanier than the Nord version, but at least players could undertake the side-quests.

TODAY'S PROGRESS REPORT:

- Experimented with some early voicework; the questgiver, Hrethric, will not be played by yours truly.

- Continued testing and tweaking the main quest. I want it as airtight as possible before I delve into side-quests.

- Finalized outlines for side-quests. Some of them feature extensive, branching questlines, whereas others are concise, tidy affairs (but fun nonetheless).

- There will be a Riekling questline that draws on Greek Mythology, if you can believe that.

TODAY'S PROGRESS REPORT:

- More testing and bugfixing for main questline.

- Added a small dialogue-oriented quest to the main questline (more of a re-organization of pre-existing content)

- I'm getting much more comfortable with the scene system, so expect a number of speeches, as well as *optional* storytelling by the quest-giver.

- There will be a FEAST! (With live entertainment!)

TODAY'S PROGRESS REPORT:

- Main quest is roughly 1-2 hours, depending on player choices, so it's time-intensive to test and re-test while attempting different options.

- Polished up several scenes, focusing on the large feast in the final act.

- Began replacing some of the placeholder dialogue.

- Several of the NPC's that pop up in the main quest may join Thirsk as fellow adventurers. There may be small side-quests available for each character to provide some backstory/arc/development.

 

Again, thanks for the support! I'm working hard to get the main quest as squared away as possible before I jump into the sidequests. With that said, I may pivot directly into the Riekling questline, as it's going to be fun to develop and play through. I just hope players that side with the Rieklings don't take themselves or the destiny of Thirsk too seriously... ;)

TODAY'S PROGRESS REPORT:

- The main questline is complete! (Dialogue notwithstanding); it offers 1-2 hours of content.

- My first order of business will be setting up scripted encounters tied to player choices, followed by pertinent side-quests.

- There will be a short "epilogue quest" that unfolds some time after the main questline.

- Sneak peak of some proposed sidequests:

 

 

- Tracking down a collection of war criminals from the Great War.

- Resolving a blood feud.

- Helping someone find their lost love.

- Assist the Fighters Guild from Morrowind establish a presence in Solstheim.

- OR assist the Thieves Guild do the same. (THESE ARE INCOMPATIBLE QUESTLINES!)

- Help a businessman foster trade with Solstheim.

- Assist Audrig Bloodaxe and the "Sons of Shor" as they hunt down pirates and engage in sea battles. I'm very excited about making this sidequest.

- Other quests tied to choices in the main questline.
