Guild of Lycanthropes

Wouldn't it be sweet if they'd put a lycanthropes guild in Skyrim? We've had mages guild, assassins guide, thieves guild, how about some werewolf maneating babysnatching fun? I know there's no way in hell they'd put a werewolf guild in Skyrim. It's nice to pretend that they'll put everything in Skyrim but it just won't happen.

Werewolves aren't guild-forming types. More like packs. If you played Bloodmoon, that's how they operate. They just go out into the night, maul a few innocents, then toddle off to be humans again. No real quests needed.

Maybe not a guild, but some sort of quest line would be awesome. Not necessarily a guild or organization.

Maybe a quest line, in the beginning you go solo, get a lot of choices on how to go about things, and later on you meet other lycanthropes that can set you on a somewhat static path.

It'd be nice if they could implement the dynamic system to depend on what town you're in. Maybe someone in the town finds out you're a werewolf and reports you to the the guards.

That could be where another lycan jumps in to help you evade the law.

That. Is. Not. Going. To. Happen. -atleast according to lore.

1: Werewolves usualy spend as much time fighting eachother as hunting, they're predatory and agressive by nature, they are more wolf than man, and retain little of their human heritage's desire to be part of a polite society. Werewolves aren't Worgen, they don't wear tophats and call eachother "good sir" they're wild animals, and even by the standards of beasts, they're savage and bloody things.

2: They're absolutely reviled. In the wake of Bloodmoon a vast, Empire-wide hunt was undertaken, known as The Purge, to kill every last werewolf that could be found. A few escaped into the wastelands of southern Skyrim, but they were almost wiped from existance, and people of Tamriel, and Nirn in general retain and extreme hatred of all of their kind, to the point that they will not only attack a Lycan on sight, but after seeing one, go to any lengths possible to hunt the pack down and destroy it.

3: They dont get along well even with other werewolves, they form packs, but the packs are strife-ridden and full of internal powerstruggles, Lycans are like Ogres, they may organise at best into caves and packs, but there's simply no way an individual, no matter how charismatic, could get even a hundred Lycan to stop killing eachother long enough to work together, let alone the other massive problem of that Lycans instinctively target pack leaders on a constant basis: command Lycans, and you instantly have a target on your back and a bloodprice on your head.

I wouldn't be surprised if the average lore-knowledge of a dedicated TES player is greater than average lore-knowledge of the development team.

It's not about lore knowledge it's about common sense. Anyone who's had a dog and gone to the park will know that the darn things just dont get along. I dont want to here some "they're not dogs, they're lycans" rant either, because they are dogs, men once sure, but they were bitten by a werewolf and now they belong to Hircine, god of the hunt, and exist simply to fulfil their progenitor's predatory whim.

You can get wild animals to hunt together, but even social creatures are still animals-until I see a pride of wild lions don tophats, monocles, and sit down for a well-mannered English teaparty on saturdays, I'm going top stick to that. Lycans dont form guilds, they're lycans.
