Do You Think the Delayed Creation Kit Will Have a Long Term Negative Effect on Modding?

I did not follow any of what you are trying to say here.

Sorry, will try to make it clear. My bad, will try to make it short.

Getting something strong early is ok if it was hard to get. That the way it should be done.

Back in my childhood, if the RPG didn't block high level areas, I would gear up and fight them for strong loot. Some let you do that very early on and it was always rewarding and worth your time do so.

Even if beth made the combat harder, it not worth it if the leveled lists was the same old lame BS since Skyrim and.. uggh oblivion.

Instead of saying "it doesn't make sense to get the mini gun and PA 15 minutes in the game in FO4. we must say "it not rewarding. Make it harder."

You know all how it is since oblivion turd. You go in a cave/fort/ruin/building, kill the boss and the chest has some cash, some cheap gems and weapon you can buy in the city with a weak magic effect. What if, after strong bosses the chest had worthy loot instead? Swan and hist fist is a good example, yes, he is not hard, but it better than some cash, gems and a worthless weapon, and feels better no?

My point about the followers wasn't that they were better in the other games but you did get some time to explore, learn a bit about the game and the world before you ran into them or could get them.

FO4 you get Dogmeat moments after leaving the vault and even in the tutorial when I clicked on the dog bowl and my char said something about "Really have to find that dog" I knew it wouldn't be long before Dogmeat was annoying me standing in my way or stepping in from of me when I try to open a container or pick up an item.

Not to mention HE OPENS DOORS!

it's just one more thing that FO4 gives the player ASAP!

With enough ammo, you can take a Behemoth down with the most basic pipe gun.
Use your terrain.

Like the Claw in the town, you're atop the roof, well, shoot the damned thing from there, but wait for it to take down them raiders, which will focus on the claw anyway.
He'll be damaged, they be dead, simply clean up the leftover.

Do try to one-shot that idiot on the opposite rooftop though. XD

and again not really my point. I know it can be killed that way.

Part of the point is that FO4 spoon feeds you everything when your low level and by the time your about Lvl 30 your a GOD!

it's one thing if you want to try to run off to the far edge of the map or the glowing sea to see if you can get some good loot at low levels like bambro. ( I get that ) but totally another to be just given everything up front.

Also some of the spawns are just ridiculous and goes to show that FO4 is more of a shooter then an RPG. Don't get me wrong there are a lot of aspects about the game I do like and am only giving my opinion about what bothered me.

To be fair the first two dlc releases lend themselves well to that. With them not being story heavy or using much in voice acting. Those dlc could be great, or could be little more then polished mods we already have. Since I have the dlc pass, I am leaning towards great.

Meh I actually enjoyed new vegas more. And I bloody hated its main plot, and thought legion was a joke.

Brotherhood quests were fun - vaults were highly interesting - and most importantly of all, they had blackjack and hookers.

The older games hand held your hand more, Fallout 4 let you fight stronger spawns early on if you wish. It just a bad idea to not a player something because "to soon! To OP!" as the main idea, it just not rewarding. They should make stuff rarer, and harder to get instead of how much time you spend of the game factor.

IMO, If I was strong enough to kill a boss early, I earned that strong item that should not spawn till level 40+. Now I gear up to get that full PA set in the glowing sea, and I feel better wearing it than all gearin past beth games. Like the flaming sword. In FO3, you didn't have to lift a finer and you were able to since level 3, in FO4, I fought powerful raiders to get that sword.

The game gives you strong stuff and you don't like it? Don't use them, limit yourself if you want, it doesn't make sense to make use something you think OP and say the game forced it own you. Even dark souls fans limit themselves if think the game is easy. Why I never see any beth player does this is beyond me. Beth games and it an RPG, you should get stronger.

And I did say I had a problem with dogmeat. But I don't see how he can hinder exploring TBH.

To each his own I guess.

For me, New Vegas was one simple play through, move along, and not even bother modding.

Fallout 4 on the other hand, I have never played a single player videogame for that long before (100 hours). I am not the kind of guy that sits at his computer for 10 hours straight playing a videogame, only Mass Effect 2, Mass Effect 3, and Fallout 4 were able to make me do that.

I don't know if it hurts or helps that I live in the freaken Mohave.
