Once you sort with LOOT and apply it, you should NOT need to import anything into NMM, NMM should recognize the new load order made by LOOT

Yes, but you need to restart NMM when you left it open while sorting with LOOT, otherwise NMM won't adapt its load order. At least, in my case.

Thank you so much for your time and willingness to share! Great reference post! Glad I found this while trying to troubleshoot a couple mods.

In my *newbie* ignorance, I have been assuming all along that if LOOT and Fo4E, and later Wyre Bash all thought my load order was good without showing any conflicts, that there couldn't be any conflicts or broken mods. *sigh* I still have much to learn.

Thanks again! So glad to find so many willing to give up their own time to help everyone else!

anytime you can't move orange mods, it's usually because of 3 problems

1) you need to click up top where it sorts your mods in numerical order, then you can move the mods around, OR

2) you have another program open at the same time that is accessing your load order, OR

3) reboot

Please remember that you can NEVER move an ESP file above an ESM file, and also that some ESP's are actually ESM's falsely marked as ESP,s One example of this i believe is the Falskaar mod for Skyrim, another example of this also were some of the files for Project Nevada for FONV

the bashed patch Wrye comes with should be in one of the sub folders inside the MOPY folder, if it's not let me know please located below

Wrye Bash 307.09 EXP - Standalone Executable-3699-307-09.7z\Mopy\templates\Fallout4\Bashed Patch, 0.esp

I downloaded it and found the file for you due to the fact that I could not believe a blank bashed patch was not included

Hello, two quick questions I noticed UF4P is an .ESP & it's above Armorkeywords.ESM AND Concealedarmor.ESM BUT i didn't put it there, that's just where it goes when I run LOOT, should it be there? and 2nd (Sorry if you covered this somewhere, but I didn't see it) I can't find a Solid consensus on if cleaning Official DLC is good to do or bad to do, one side of the debate states that beth. released the game that way before there was a LOOT and the official DLC is meant to be 'dirty' and the other side states that beth. messes up a lot of things they didn't fix (we all know the truth of that!) and this is just another one of them.... HELP? how do I know who is right? is it safe to assume if I cleaned them last game and had No CTDs that I Should do it again?

Thanks in advance if you get time to read/ respond to this.

Cleaning the DLC is fine, but there are 2 things you need to remember.

1) NEVER clean the main ESM - In this case Fallout4.esm - If you clean this file it will break your game install EVERY single time

2) I myself do NOT clean the Update.esm - there has been much debate about this but I will tell you why I do not clean this file. The Update.esm is exactly that, it is an update to the main ESM files. Some people have cleaned this with success while others have had their game broken by cleaning it.

If UF4P stand for unofficial fallout4 patch then this files needs to load below ALL of the official game files, BUT, above all other ESM's and ESP's. So yes it would load above Armorkeywords.ESM AND Concealedarmor.ESM, just make sure it is loaded below ALL games files INCLUDING the Update and DLC's.

I think you should read the 2 links below that a friend of mine wrote himself, it explains a TON more stuff that I don't cover

1) "FNV General Mod Use Advice" - General things you need to know and will be assumed to understand.

2) "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" - Guide to specific common problems and solutions.
