Addicted to starting a new game

So ever since Fallout 3 was released (and maybe before that?) Bethesda have been creating worlds that are highly addicting and super fun to explore.

Ever since then I have a weird problem that happened with Fallout 3, Skyrim, FNV and now Fallout 4. I become addicted to starting a new game and playing the first 1/3 of the game. Its happened to me with MMOs as well, such as world of warcraft. I've beaten Fallout 4 many times now and seen the endings but now I just play for fun. I'm just wondering if anyone else suffers from this awesome affliction as well? :D

I, also. I have my fun creating the character and then seeing how they progress in the world. My character in Fallout 4 got to the final battle in the Automaton DLC when I quit and started a new character. I have never finished the game with either New Vegas or Skyrim. I have played literally dozens of characters in Oblivion and finished it twice. I like the start where everything that you find is exciting and needed. Once you've got all the best and are ultra powerful then killing the opponents just seems like so much murder. Or they become very powerful to compensate for your skills and then it becomes just too much work.

you might want to finish Fallout 4. unlike the previous versions it does not end game after the final cut screen. There are a few quests that don't start until after you finish the main game. As for starting new characters I have been addicted to that since the original fallout. In the original game you only had 300 in game days to complete the quest and I think there was a way to give yourself an extension of 200 days. To explore all of the map required several playthroughs. Been doing it that way ever since

What quest would only start after the final quest is finished? In general I am afraid to finish a game (done that a few times) because I feel it is pointless and hopeless to go on.

I hear you  I never finished New Vegas until finally I created a character I could relate to - and began writing down his adventures. THEN I managed to finish the game and DLCs. Doing the same here - but still got 5 characters apart from my main one :whistling:

That happens to me in all games.

I love the feeling about being weak, planning my build, then when it gets into late mid game, I'm like

"I can do a build that does this and do that and use those!"

I can only feel at peace in mobas.
