Trying to re-download a Mod that I no longer have & going to the "File"

Screen & all I see is an "E". If I try using "Download NMM", it prompts

"An Error Has Occurred" Screen.

I am using Google Chrome Version 50.0.2661.87 m

Following other people's advice of re-logging, allowed me to download the Mod

that I was trying to get.

I was having the same issues as stated above, but then I tried a fresh search on mod pages I haven't visited before and it was fine...

I then CLEARED MY BROWSER HISTORY and all works fine.

Give it a try!

CORRECTION:

I thought clearing my cache worked, but it turns out it's to do with direct links within pages that don't have https:// in the URL. Manually adding HTTPS:// to the address in your browser will get you around this for now.

My feedback for now.

If, i go, and enter Nexus Homesite, search for a Mod, i can download it normally.

BUT, if i am, for exemple, following the S.T.E.P guide, and i click on one of their direct links, to a mod, the page will appear, but when clicking to go to download, or anything else, the page will display a capital E where the downlaods should be.

Probablly, your security is breaking the old link, and the only way to acess your downloads/mod pages, without the error, is going thorugh the homepage, and searching for the mod.

That, is really a big problem, for someone who is following a large guide like the ones on S.T.E.P Wiki =\

as others have already mentioned, it's a very much needed auto-redirect from http:// -> https:// in these kind of updates. all my bookmarks have http:// links, all my mod pages have http:// redirects to my other mods and of course every other site, every youtube video that links to nexusmods.com will end up with a broken user experience.

also noticed another issue. youtube tags are no longer working in mod page comments. we just released a huge update for Old World Radio, and I worked on the demo video for a day and I didn't understand how it is possible that it only has 110 views on youtube. until I noticed that the embed video doesn't show up in the comment.

Same here, to fix it you need to manually add "https://" at the start of the URL.

Worked until I tried to post a comment. It ate the comment and I just got an E from that point onwards. Replacing http:// with https:// manually fixed it.
