Found out there's stuff from me there as well. They directly link to the download so people will not get the sourcefiles that can only be downloaded from TESA. So I send them an email, but it's really not suprising that I haven't heard back from them yet...

Hello,

It recently came to my attention that my mods or mods that I gave permission for to others to use have a direct link at GMOD: http://gmod.com/mod/?s=starx&qc=mods&in=2

I want you to remove all those links/files as I never gave permission for such actions. The vampire mod isn't even complete as it requires a secondary download for the sourcefiles, so that only proves my point that you don't gave a rats ass about the modlinks you host, but just want to generate traffic for the adds.

If you want to be a serious modding source I suggest you stop leeching on the work from others (modders and site owners).

I should say this in advance: I don't want any explainations or excuses, I just want to have those files removed. I will be checking to see if you comply and if not I will be taking further action.

If I come across as being rude than I really don't care, you should have thought about the consequenses before making such a ridiculous leeching database.

Its an apartment building xD

I'm half tempted to contact some of the people related to their previous projects... Particularly Gas Powered Games (which has no mention of Olympus games on their site), to see if even that end of the story checks out.

This entire site is run by like 5 college students and they try to make themselves look like a big company. I highly doubt that anything there is close to being real.

Don't forget Olympus Entertainment, the parent company.

Decided to look them up on Google earth... Interesting part... The building at that address looks nothing like that picture, and they are apparently across the street from a church. And their legal offices... I kid you not, looks like it's someone's house.

If you weren't convinced that this was a shady operation before, it clearly is now. Their site tries to look all professional, but most of it seems to be lies.

The address in that pic is this..... http://www.eastlakemail.com/

You serious? That's just...well that's just sad, considering the pic they put up on their site.

Well, to be fair, I can somehow picture this site being run mostly out of Dark0ne's 2 room flat, using the servers as a hotplate to reheat pizza from the night before... But atleast he doesn't try to hide that fact much.

You're ruining that image I make of myself living on a Caribbean island with 2, gorgeous, bikini-clad women on each arm. Why would you do that? I wasn't hurting anybody :(

Yeah, I'm more appalled by the fact that they put up a fake pic. I don't see why they would put up their address for any other reason than to attract visitors, then upload a fake pic. Something doesn't smell right to me.

I don't pretend to know what it means, but this struck me as rather odd:

"Should have Debugging and design skills pertaining to UI layouts including creation of mock products which look and feel like a real program."
