Hey are the mods being removed now? Mine are still up so I don't know if anyone has had any luck getting theirs removed. Sorry if this has been answered but I didn't feel like reading through 24 pages of stuff.

Edit: I'm placated by the blacklist link  Gmod is still awful for sticking up my content though.

If I'm not mistaken gmod is a trademark, gmod aka garrysmod, which you have to purchase through Steam. And last time I checked Valve was pretty protective of their and their clients property.

Yep just checked, you can purchase gmod through Steam for €9.99. Give Valve or garrysmod.org a shout and they should clear this mess up for you.

They said they registered the site before Garry's Mod was a thing (And Valve doesn't own Garry's Mod). Although I'm not sure if I believe them.

Gmod was around, and was a thing, the very same year HL2 was out if memory serves. And it's in Valve's interest to keep stuff sold through Steam safe as they get a share of the cut. And if not, garrysmod.org will most likely be interested in the tm infraction. So anything the parasites say about that is just traditional american sausage(baloney).

Note the creation date on this data. Then realize Garry's Mod didn't exist until 2005. I despise gmod.com as much as the next guy but if you're going to suggest people go after them, make sure they have actual grounds.

I want absolutely NOTHING of mine uploaded to Gmod.com ! I upload and adminster my mods here on the nexus and that is the ONLY place I want them! Therefore if you have any of my mods uploaded I want them taken down and any account you have "created" for me is to be removed.

I found both of my mods on there, and have been fairly nice and casual about it up until now. I simply asked that they talk to me and tell me why they had my files on their site. That was about a week ago, and still no comment from them, and I got interested...

Ok, Got a lead...

For anyone with a FACEBOOK account, I found that they have a group.

gmod.com

I put a review, a comment, and a note on my wall describing their deeds. If you want, you can always complain there. It will either make them take notice, or put them on the pariah list from the bad reputation from others. ... Just an idea. :)

Gee whizz is this still going on ... has the word not successfully gone out that the guys from G-mod are anathema and not to be trusted anymore than a one-legged dog running the Boston marathon ? ... my apologies to the one-legged dog.
