I participate in "mod creation" because I am creating a mod (albeit very slowly and painfully).

 

I also participate in "mod installation", because I have downloaded and installed mods.

 

I know that "mod creation" and "mod installation" are verbose. but sometimes more words actually clarify a situation.

If there's a section for the creation kit, will there be somewhere for PS-4 and XBox users? I recently put my FO4 mod on the console for the console users and got someone asking me if I needed a play-tester for my mods since I didn't own a PS-4 or Xbox. Wouldn't that help console modding if there was somewhere for console users to offer to help p.c modders who don't own the console to test them? It may help alleviate the worries of those modders if there was somewhere to get decent feedback from the console players :D

thanks for this, I hate asking for help on Bethesda's poor excuse for a forum and try to find the answer on my own but stuff relating to the Creation Kit focused on fallout 4 mechanics that are not in skyrim such ass the build menu stuff, there is next to nothing out there for people to get help and forget the creation kit wiki, there is litterly nothing there.

 

Maybe this way we can build a better resource to help the community create mods so again, thank you for this

Eyyyy great job. It was pretty cringe having to use bethesda's.. 'website'.. to look for creation kit specific threads. :)

As I'm just getting reacquainted with the Creation Kit right now, that's excellent news :)

I may need help with more basic knowledge too, so some faqs about subjects such as forms would probably help me and other new modders get to grips with the engine.

what sucks is that the creation kit for Fo4 is locked behind a useless program that you have to download, bethesda's launcher. so you can no longer keep track of how many hours you use it like with steam

Why would someone want to keep track of how long they use the CK? Seems like a weird complaint to me. (No offense)
