AndrewWaltfeld
Is it sad that I have more fun killing their arrogant uptight stuck-butts than dragons? Nah. It's perfectly understandable. Encountering and killing dragons is straightforward but finding and taking out Thalmor can be done any number of ways. So far, I've seen the standard wanderers, the hit squad and the prisoner escort. I actually managed to save the prisoner by the method I used in the first post, though I only gave him a mace before cutting him loose. ah wasn't talking about ways to kill them. It's fairly easy for me now that I'm level 40 or so with dragon armor. What I meant was that I got more enjoyment out of killing them than dragons. Dragons is like... "O.. another dragon." *kill*. O look Thalmor. *chuckle* "You think you can defeat-" *blocks his power attack with my shield and enter quick time mode* Slash, slash slash, Cut-scene Kill by stabbing them or lopping off their head. That's pretty much how my conversations with Thalmor go. Heck at the Embassy, I purposely didn't try sneaking around the guards, I just went in rocking my ebony sword and armor/shield to kill the whole lot of them. Miraboreasu
Stab the one in the back. Slip off, remain unseen, but casting an ice rune will alert one of them to investigate. When they step within range, blindside them. Now my cover is blown, but I'm only facing one single Thalmor, usually the wizard. Nothing a single charge attack won't solve. Afterwards, let the prisoner go on his merry way. It's not a political thing, but the thalmor have to go. Also, anyone else here realize that if you have silent roll, you can do a charging sneak attack, critical chance and all? zcks
Also, anyone else here realize that if you have silent roll, you can do a charging sneak attack, critical chance and all? Yes & it makes many encounters with them & others so much more fun.
Corakus
How come "Smile and wave at my kin" isn't an option?
OnlyOneWing
Typically I just talk to the Thalmore and after I am done I split his/her head in two with my sword and then I make quick work of the two guards. If there is a prisoner I then give him a sword and armor to help him with survival thereafter. I hate the Thalmore. They are twisted and sneaky, I feel like the Nords and the Imperials are the 99% and the Thalmore are the 1% that secretly rule and benefit from the toil of society in Skyrim. ck213
I was walking down a road with my companion in tow when three Storm Cloaks crossed the path. Next three Thalmor came out and they all started fighting. I was in shock at the randomness of it and jumped in too late to help the Storm Cloaks. They were wiped out. I exited and reloaded, but the event was random. Three imperials crossed the path this time with no incident to be had. They were just on patrol. However I did get the witness a random dragon resurrection. Partially anyway. It was cool but I didn't stay around to see it appear. After spying on the imperials I could hear the dragon's roar all down the valley.Of course his new life was cut short. This game just amazes me time and time again. Vatras
I met their hit squad after the embassy quest, but mages mean little to a breton wearing Dawnbreaker :)With my sneaking sniper character I plan on shooting them undetected from far away, when I get to that point.
