Octopuss: It's possible you triggered your browser's zoom feature by accident. Try hitting Ctrl-0 (Ctrl-zero) next time it happens.

Most browsers have a zoom feature that uses Ctrl-+ (Ctrl-plus) and Ctrl-- (Ctrl-minus) to zoom in and out, and Ctrl-0 to reset.

Now that most major items have been resolved, some of the minor irritants can be looked at?

For me, it is irritating when going through a forum's file category that using the back button or forward button your scroll bar only returns to the bottom of the sort box. Let me explain in a bit more detail:

I am looking for a particular Skyrim animation, but all I can remember is some details about what it did. So I go in to the files / animation category, choose 'most recent' in the sort box, then start looking on page one. Get to the bottom of page one, click on the button to go to page two (the '2' button") and my scroll bar ends up halfway up the page at the bottom of the sort box. I drag my scroll bar back up to the top of page two, and start looking...

Dude, I have NO IDEA. I thought I was having hallucinations when it appeared, and twice as much when it went away. I didn't touch a thing before or after. I just clicked refresh and it was there. After a while (like an hour or two) it suddenly went back to normal. I didn't touch any settings.

Sorry if this has been reported before but when I d/l a file you get the endorsement notification but now it's showing files that I have already endorsed but still showing me the option to endorse or not. Is this supposed to happen?

A question about translating old image ID's... Here is an image ID from the HDT highheel system page...

http://static.skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/images/36213-5-1368963440.jpg Note that it doesn't work.

If it were like a mod ID, I'd just make the url " http://static.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/images/36213-5-1368963440.jpg " but that doesn't work. So what do we have to do to get back to older images?

Off-topic, down here in Oceania land, the skyrim (at least) site is still rather slowish, some supporter's images (avatars) don't load (others do...), sometimes the header images don't all load... (Like the search bar image...) Used my usual browser and IE 10, same - ish results. (ie, what loads and doesn't load (image-wise) is variable, but both browsers have mixed results.)

Pics have been loading slow the last few days here in the US, too. I figure the servers are still busy; fallout from the recent Steam sale.

First, just want to say its sites like these that keep the Internet awesome...

Suggestion... fund raisers for mods, eg talented designers can get sponsored to create content. Kind of like a kick-starter concept for content generation.

Other than that, higher voting rights to contributers might induce more money flow.

Offering, requesting, promoting, or suggesting any form of "Modding for Money" will get the Nexus shut down faster than almost anything other than child porn. The game publishers only allow sites like this to operate as long as there is NO real commerce being conducted. :armscrossed:

A Kickstarter campaign (or anything like one) for a mod would draw their lawyers faster than you can say "Cease and desist."

(We're not even sure how they feel about the Donation option we recently instituted. So "DADT".)

Hi there,

Not sure if this is the right place to put this, or if I am the only one having this problem, but for the past half hour or so http://www.nexusmods.com/ has not been able to load. I get the message "service is unavailable, please try again later" or in chrome, it says it could not connect. My internet is working fine for other websites, and the forums on the nexus are working. Any idea what could be causing this?

Thanks,

joyous1ariella

Disregard, problem seems to be gone, not sure what caused it. Also found the bug reports section lol, I'll be sure to post this kind of thing there from now on :P
