Hi! I have weird problem with image upload for my mod. Then i select files, thumbnails show up just fine, after upload images seem to be added, but for some reason are not shown, i can only see black boxes. This is very strange since images i uploaded earlier today seem to work fine. They i try to copy image address and open it with the browser, early images show up momentarily (for example: http://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/mods/1151/images/9845-1-1455392182.jpg), while new ones does not show at all (http://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/mods/1151/images/9845-7-1455408509.jpg). Also work with the site interface is hampered by some kind of heavy lag. What is going on?

Since yesterday I have a lot of problems getting on www.nexusmods.com. For mods that is, apparently the Nexus Forums work as intended.

 

If I try to go to Skyrim Nexus ... or any Nexus site I try to visit at the moment, loads so extremely slow. So much slower then I have experienced here at times the past year or so. Once/if the site loads it often looks like this.

If I click on a link ( No matter which one. ) then either the sites front page gets reloaded ... or it goes to the mod page but so extremely slow. ( Again so much slower then I have experienced at times here in the past year or so. )

 

 

EDIT: Hmm I just changed DNS servers and for the moment that seems to have solved things for me.

a suggestion i have is to prevent video ads, especially the ones with audio. i've had the same page start playing different video ads with audio in the background multiple times without reloading. I try to leave ad block off for most sites, but when a site repeatedly starts playing audio ads I turn it back on.

 

If I didn't have to deal with ads like that or ones that pop up on me I wouldn't even have it installed, but with all the intrusive ads everywhere i got tired of it.

The view counter in the image share needs to be updated to count only unique entries, might be a good idea to do it with mods if it hasn't been done already. So the same person cannot create views over and over again, whether it be a guest or members.

Hey guys! I would like to suggest something for the forums.

 

As the forum is managed by IPBoard and it starts in forums.XXX.com, I think that it would be a great idea to allow the forums to be visited by the app Tapatalk. That way, the users can post messages in the go easily and without using a browser. I think that it will be a great addition after the Nexus Site redesign (it would have mobile view, the forums need an overhaul in that area too :laugh: ).

 

If I'm wrong and the forum it's up in Tapatalk, please tell me. I searched lots of queries (even the adress) and I found nothing.

Could someone explain what I'm doing wrong? I wanted to go to the Fallout 4 forum. But not only do I not find it, but there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to how the games are listed. I mean, what happened to alphabetized listing? Far Cry 4 is half the page away from Far Cry 3. That makes no sense at all, so it must be that my browser or something I'm doing has messed things up tremendously. Unbelievable.

Go to the Fallout 4 site on the Nexus and click the forum link.

 

The Game category on the forums is done in the order in which the game was added to the site.

for me it seems to be because of the ads or, to be more specific, to the size of some ads. If i... "ignore them", the web works just fine. if i turn them on i cant carelly scroll up and down. Maybe someone overdid it, by a lot.

EVERY single mod I attempt to download using the NMM, returns a blank page and a message that it is not found!!! What am I doing wrong?
