TheKlingonHamlet
Does the site work correctly for other users of TOR browser? Since towards the middle of last week, I can't open any tabs on mod pages or authors' profiles; instead of the expected content, all I get is letter E. Vorians
I've been finding the upload speed for mod files extremely slow recently, is this a general issue for other people? This morning it took roughly 2 minutes to upload a 16kb file (I only started clock-watching after roughly 20-30 seconds and it took a further 1.5 minutes), and various other small files also take a surprising length of time to upload. I uploaded a 19mb file to The Assimilation Lab a few days ago and it finished in about 20 seconds. The same file uploaded here on Nexus took around 10-15 minutes. Chris5442000
I do not know if this is the proper place to ask this question. I am a total newbie here and I am trying to simply find out how to download a mod? I went to a list of Mods that pc gamer likes. I clicked on the link and it brings me to a particular mod. What I see is a nmm file and a manual file. What do I click on to download a mod? Do I need a premium account to download? Can someone please help? I a a bit overwhelmed by this site. I usually dl mods from steam so this is totally new to me. Thanks! Chris
Thandal
@Chris5442000; No Premium Account required. Just use the "Download manually" link and follow the author's installation instructions.(Telling us which game, and which mod, you're talking about would let us give more specific help.) NOTE: The "NMM" link is for those who have the Nexus Mod Manager installed. See the top of every page in the Files Area.
garthagain
Greetings ..... I have been trying to figure out if, and how I can upload a Dungeon Seige 2 map to the Nexus and I'm stymied. There are some DS mods on the Nexus. I'm am new to forums, blogs, and uploading and could shure use some help, guidance and advice. After years of work, the map should be ready in a couple months. I've been getting some help from Siege The Day, a site dedicated to the Dungeon Siege games, but cannot upload there. About the map; "Dawn of the Third Age" ..... Description = "Valdis, the Cinbri are gone, new villains emerge as the land reawakens.Level 50+". It picks up where Dungeon Siege and Broken World left off. 7zipped file size = 486 MB(+ a bit). http://imgur.com/a/RKg9r Edited May 29, 2017 by garthagain
Thandal
@garthagin; Since so far there are no mods for "Dungeon Siege 2", you'll have to start that process to upload one. Note that there's a built-in delay to publishing a mod for a game that's new on the Nexus while the admins verify the set-up. (Lots of back-end plumbing involved.) TheAelfgar
You know what would be really cool? An "Uninstall All" option in NMM.
