Hello i am appoligize for my bad english but i have a question. I want to upload my combat music replacer for Fallout 4, but music from this mod its not mine. I used Really Slow Motion and Q-Factory stuff. RMS have a note: "If you want to use our music in your YouTube videos just go for it!! But, please, credit us in the description with links to digital stores to let people know they can purchase our music online. If you want to monetise your videos on YouTube with our music you will require to pay a license fee." Q-factory have a free download and licensing information told that: "All Q-Factory cues are owned and controlled solely by 2017 Q-Factory LLC and must be licensed for any commercial use whatsoever (including public service announcements)." So I think it must work for non commercial mods for games too? I tried to contact their support teams by e-mail to get permission week ago but there is no answer. I don't want have problems or ban that's the reason why I need your help in deseeding. Can I upload it or not?

Thank you for your responding but aren't you a regular member like me? I think only administration can give a clear answer.

Therefore you email the people that can actually answer that to you - the owners of said music.

This is legal thing honestly. Based on rules stated by the owners:

1. YouTube creators may use the music for free if video is not monetized.

2. If it is monetized ypu must acquire a license.

No where does it say you can freely distribute their music.

Probably you don't understand what I mean. So isn't this a distribute when someone upload it on YouTube? What is different with other sites? I think the main thing here is credits. ADS in video can be useless for music creators without viewers and mod can bring them a new customers.

Logically, you are right because... why YouTube and not Nexus?

Legally, you are not covered because... for some reason they mention YouTube specifically.

Logically, it should probably be OK with the creators if you credit them. However you are right that only an Admin could answer your question, because the real question is what is Nexus going to do if you upload that.

Logically they are quite wrong. Giving away someone else's music doesn't mean that someone is getting more customers.

The Nexus respects copyright laws and would obviously remove the mod in question if uploaded.

They already giving it away. Grab it from YouTube (RSM) or download it for free from their site (Q-Factory). How do they get customers in your opinion? Ads drive leads and sales

Is there any possibility in the future of having an "I don't want to see this mod" option for the Hotfiles?

This may be an unpopular opinion, but I am SICK of seeing the monstrous Blimp sized boobs every time I go to Skyrim Nexus to check updates.

I had to see those on Flickr day in and day out for a few years before I left that site and I'm so glad I did. There was lots of barfing in the trash can  TONS OF PUKE.
