It was stated that constantly asking questions would be a fast way to be removed, you were removed mainly for not listening to staff, moaning about thread bumping rules, and acting like the rules somehow do not apply to yourself.

That is the parts of the chat log copied to the Chat room forum where bans are recorded, I have made certain parts bold:-

 

The first quote acting like the rules are not for you when warned about what can happen when spamming, no one said you were spamming we were giving you warnings about it.

 

The second part thinking your thread is more important then others yet again the rules do not apply to you.

 

The third calling staff fascist for informing/enforcing the rules you agreed to when joining the site and entering the chat.

 

Just because you are a long term member does not mean the rules do not apply, the rules apply to every one. If you would have taken the information at first instead of making such a big deal it would have been fine, but you did not.

Well as far as I know I did not ask that question constantly, now can you at least tell me if the ban is permanent or not, please give me 1 week ban or something, Id really appreciate that and I will no longer come on the chat for questions regarding modding nor argue with moderators again.

 

Please dont make it permament.

Unfortunately, limitations on the Chat Room Module software do not allow for a "countdown timer" on a ban, so it's "for the foreseeable future".

Good behaviour in all the other areas of the Nexus will go a long way in determining if that future is near-, or long-term.

a) Doesn't happen automatically (that's part of what's missing in the Chat Room software),

b) You should send the PM to the Staff member who imposed the Ban , (which wasn't me) and;

c) What part of "Do not discuss in the public forums" is hard to understand? :huh:

Because I dont know who to PM to, I dont see any message in my box indicating which person banned me to how can I know which person it is...

All I know is this:

"You do not have access to our chat room."

 

Why do you think im posting all this on the public forum to begin with...If I knew which person exactly gave me the ban I would have done what you suggested...

 

edit: and If I were to send a PM to DrGrimm AND micalov you guys could say that im spamming again, no matter what I'd do it would be something wrong and nothing would help my case...

I pressed the ban button and made the call, but I am afraid as far as I am concerned after everything that has happened the ban remains in place with no set time frame for removal, if a higher ranking member of staff decides to over turn that like grimm etc so be it. That is their call.

oh come on, you banned me for minor misunderstandings in the chat, I wasnt even spamming, then you guys gave me no alternative then to ask these things in the public forum as I didnt know who to PM to and now because of all that the ban is permanent?

 

edit: tbh this all started because micalov and DrGrimm started giving me warnings for things I wasnt even doing, as far as I remember those times I was in chat there were more people asking questions regarding modding and people usually answered to them, not by warnings of keeping silent and stopping the spam but by actually helpful comments or links.

 

As for me getting the ban for not listening to the moderators, I wasnt doing anything wrong except resisting your claims and warnings towards me because I asked 1 simple polite question.

 

The only time I wasnt polite was the end message, I apologize for saying "fascist" but it was my way of expressing how you guys were following the rules to the teeth while I wasnt even breaking them, somehow you made it sound like I was in total violation and moaning/spamming the chat endlessly, which is far from the truth.

 

my 2 cents, I really do hope that ban isnt permanent and I dont see why the moderators on this website are so angry towards their users who seek help in further trying to progress their modding on this page, a simple warning and kick would have sufficed instead of a permanent instant ban.
