Bethesda has been slowly releasing video tutorials, for those who don't know.

You can visit their Youtube channel here. http://www.youtube.com/user/BethesdaGameStudios?feature=watch

And, here are the links to their videos so far:

There is a tenth video intended, but as of this post it hasn't been released yet.

I'll have to remember to update this post once they've released it.

Last one is now up as well.

Could anyone point out a good tutorial for spell creation? (Note, CK is the only thing I have, and I only vaguely know how to work it.)

Yes, thank you for these vids.

Also, a big thanks for the links to the tools you use. Open source software is so awesome.

Does anyone know where i can find a tutorial on editing head and body mesh, so that they will look less blocky. I would like to create more vertices to give a more rounded look.

Can anyone help me with this problem. I downloaded a tutorial guide from the Nexus (Blender-imp-exp_1_2). I have downloaded the programs that the tutorial recomends, which are;

Python 2.6.6 (32-bit)

PyFFI 2.1.10 (32-bit)

Blender 2.49b

Blender Nif Scripts 2.5.8

Nifskope 1.1.0-rc1

I have managed to install Blender and Nifskope without any problems but i am having difficulty with where to put the other 3 programs. If anyone has used these programs, could you explain to me where on my computer i should put these programs. I would love to be able to edit mesh and put them in Skyrim.

I can explain the whole process, but with blender 1.62. Nif plugin doesn't support this version, but there is Nifscope.

Using Nifscope you can export any object you want and then edit it with blender.

Also Nifscope helps import that object back to nif file.

For more details see video tutorial about adding new sword to the game(
