FMEE: 1.43.1[43.1]

Suzanne-Stellatyne's group moved through a Rimvault area, outside of ServoVault101 but still firmly inside TechVault101. The features were even more arid than those of the more central vault sections. There were also ugly features such as visible pipes jutting horizontally, and vertically, out from walls along with bits of often unguessable machinery. There were plenty of doors, smaller hatches that were sometimes in floor recesses or even in the ceiling. The cat creature kept on guiding them past such possible diversions.

All of them experienced a kind of tingling sensation, the Timelord and cat-entity more than the robots. Then they were going through another quarintine security airlock like arrangement and into what?

Suzanne-Stellatyne read a big, official, metal sign. "According to that information we are back in ServoVault101 but something has me doubting it."

TARDISclapBob0016a spoke. "Local network-systems are more advanced than those of the real ServoVault101, from what my scanners-sensors are picking up. There are many dangers here in the form of advanced, VaultTech like, security network-systems but also, I compute, some more dangerous surprises than those."

They continued into the slightly dusty vault, going along main corridors until they came into a great atrium type chamber. This was a very different sight to behold. A great battle had taken place with holes in surfaces, burn marks, destroyed or heavily damaged sentry-robots, prone bodies in vault power armour, but also the skeletal remains of humanoid creatures of an unknown kind even to the Timelord. They wore strange, now loose, armour that was probably tight against flesh. Each had three heads on three necks, three arms and three legs coming out from a strange cone like body. Evidence suggested three tentacle things had come out of each head, from the end of each arm and the end of each leg.

Or were they unknown to the cat-entity? She opened her mouth and hissed with rage but then became quiet.

Then, suddenly, Suzanne-Stellatyne knew what they were. She shuddered softly. "Tritenculars from extremely ancient Timelordic history. One of the first great enemies fought by the Timelords. In this case the Timelords led a big alliance while the Tritenculars led large forces of entranced-enslaved ones. One main reason they lost was that the mysterious Celestialians freed their followers who turned upon the Tritenculars."

She turned to the cat-entity. "You are, the thirteen of you, a Celestian."

The cat-entity took this proclamation quite calmly and then began to look around the big area. There was much to examine and many details became clearer as the process of exploration went on.

MissFortune dropped into yet another secret chamber below the Wastelands Preservation Centre, in RivetCity, and was soon joined by BlackWidow. The two women looked around at the three miniature submarines, the armoured SCUBA diving suits and even the five complete sets of submersible power armour. There was a very light layer of dust all over.

BlackWidow spoke. "The plot thickens! This was done after Doomsday, perhaps even before RivetCity was officially established as a settlement."

There was plenty of other stuff there, much of it being built in hardware, or being otherwise expected. Seemingly out of place was a comfortable looking alcove made out in a British Victorian style complete with wooden furnishings, a gramophone, a set of fancy bolt-action rifles held on display in wall gun racks, and even a large painting of Queen Victoria on one wall.

There were other promising details centered around the pool of water that was the entrance to a short tunnel going downwards to the waters beneath the ship. Clearly it could be sealed up by at least one, thick, armoured door.

With great care they began to search the chamber and were soon joined by others.

FMEE: 1.45.1[45.1]

Sheheit fed upon the mind-body-spirit, but not the souls, of three sacrifised roachmans and nine superroaches along with one human worker caught stealing medicine from his masters. The '13' of it was of great importance though sheheit was not fully sure why.

Sheheit reached out to call forth herhisits aspect as trapped in the DocTARDIScore with out truly considering what that meant. It reached out to subtly influence reality around itself but not always in a darkly negative fashion. Blackest of shadows flittered, more than usual, in the general darkness around sheheit.

The victims writhed on the floor but felt little actual pain for they were in shock. Than, with a soft shudder, all of them were dead including the murdered man who had tried to steal medicine for his ailing child.

Matters needed to be looked more carefully into and to be rearranged just as carefully.

FMEE: 1.46.1[46.1]

The Judoon dug deeper into ditches behind force barrier fences and put up more prefabricated defensive structures as gangers shot at them with sniper-guns and missile launchers. That is just now and then, with the shots becoming less frequent as it was proven the Judoon aliens had no interest in the local humans or ghoulmans. Ultrasonics kept away threats such as deathclaws, radscorpions and muttbears. Such as radroaches, and molerats, kept away anyway.

When the Judoon projected a force dome, over their site, that went quite deep into the ground then all attacks ceased. The dome shimmered very slightly and glowed in the same manner; it was designed to do this so as not to attract too much attention.

The smarter Judoon, of highest ranking officers, knew that such worlds tended to have dangerous surprises in store and could never be taken for granted. Very small security drones were deployed, to patrol not far outside of the dome, and these dropped off smaller, stationary, turrets.

Communications were cut with the nearest Shadow Proclamation outpost which meant no communications at all. The Judoon had experienced difficulties before but complete isolation, from their masters, was still greatly discomforting for them.

They dug further in and began further preparations, for the expeditionary mission to come, while making continuous efforts to reconnect with the Shadow Proclamation Network.

FMEE: 1.47.1[47.1]

Steeltroopers moved, in a patrol, through the area close to the DC Citadel that used to be the New Pentagon built in the 2050s. The Old Pentagon was not far away, having been converted to a museum with the opening of the New Pentagon but later being returned to military use.

They passed a surprisingly undamaged war bonds patriotic statue of a power armoured US GI. He held a high powered battlerifle, not real of course, of a kind that had used caseless cartridges. The Orderhood of Steel used older type half inch (12.7mm) calibre cased cartridges in their own more basic, but rugged, battlerifles.

OofS eyebots, drones, and scouts had picked up evidence of a large number of supermutants having moved through the area, heading towards the DC National Mall or DCNM. Bought information, from locals, had confirmed that to be true.

With the troopers were four PARs, or power armour robots, that were power armour suits turned into robots. They were a little clumsier, slower, than the Steeltroopers but were stronger and harder to damage. They 3Dvideo recorded everything that they could.

They would not attempt to follow the supermutants to the DCNM for they were but a patrol of standard elite Steeltroopers. There was enough to deal with, in the area around the DCCitadel; that is be that gangers, bandits, deformed cannibals, ghouls, supermutants that seemed to be different from those going to the great mall, and many other threats including deathclaws.

Settlers were already settling into the new Citadelcity settlement just inside the outer DCCitadel. Even ghoulmans, and friendly supermutants, were welcome thanks to the thinking of Elder Owen Lyons and those of his faction. It was whispered that escaped androids, from the New England Commonwealth, were seeking shelter there.

FMEE: 1.48.1[48.1]

Lasoona-Laloossaunt led the rest of the group, moving quickly, through crowds of naked headless humans who had instead items such as teapots, flowerpots full of bright colourful flowers, squat statues of woman figures, electric toasters and much else including obvious mannequin heads.

Oversized protectron robots thundered through the crowds, bowling people over who then got up and quietly went back to doing odd things.

Lasoona-Laloossaunt had warned her companions not to focus too much on what the headless ones were doing or even on the humans themselves.

Most importantly they had to avoid the oversized protectrons and the danger provided by the giant robotic pigeons circling overhead.

While not obviously headed towards the real-false Timelord Academy, the others had learned to trust Lasoona-Laloossaunt and kept following her towards a large, ornate, metallic gateway.

FMEE: 1.49.1[49.1]

In quite pale light, Suzanne-Stellatyne strode forward to meet the envoy from the local population of that secret vault. The fairly thin man was oddly pale but so were all of the humans with him. They wore TechnoVault101 vaultsuits with security body-armour including visorhelmets. They carried caseless cartridge using autopistols, autocarbines and autoshotguns along with a mixture of other weapons. Every one of them had one gun, one stunclub, and a combat knife along with some grenades.

The pale man spoke. "You are Outsiders! No outsiders have been here since the big battle that left us with the Blood Curse. The tentacled things were defeated but not before they cursed us. Many of us died! Those of us who survived were transformed. We welcome you!"

Suzanne-Stellatyne smiled warmly even as she looked around the big, largely shadowy chamber, with apparent casualness. Then she turned back to the man who was facing her, and her companions, in an oddly rigid fashion. She lifted her gun and began firing it with deadly speed, efficiency, and aim. Soon her clone, and robotic, companions were doing the same.

As the bodies disintegrated, showing no blood in the process, long tentacles were exposed even as they were destroyed. The tentacle puppets were wiped out in seconds.

The Timelord spoke. "That was one of the almost endless nasty tricks of the tritenctaculars that my Timelordic ancestors had to deal with but with them it was often millions of tentacle puppets infesting conquered worlds, the things being the victims of that monstrous species."

The cat spoke. "Have the Timelords ever stopped to consider that the tritenctaculars were themselves enslaved by yet another, more powerful, force?"

"Yes!" Suzanne-Stellatyne frowned. "Such factions as the Theoretical Heretics, the Ever Questioning Circle, and the Glassetower Sages did so. The orthodox factions were almost hostile to the questioning of ancient assumptions, as if they feared to face an ancient truth."

The Celestian entity paused to scratch behind one ear, with a hind leg, before she spoke. "The ancient story that we freed the slaves, of the tritenctaculars is only partly true for we freed also many tritentaculars also from the shadow things that possessed, and controlled, them."

FMEE: 1.49.2[49.2]

From the 'feline' shot multiple pulses of light that exploded so that soon the great chamber was well lit up and remained so. Great mounds of tech hardware, mostly of more basic machines, had mingled with them numerous skeletal remains. They appeared to be humanoid and of animals, mostly dogs. Yet there were also skeletal remains of lots of tritentaculars. With them was the sort of gear they had probably been using including power armour and weapons.

Strange, glistening, black oily patches smelt most disturbing until the Celestian shot sparks at them and they burned almost instantly away.

Suzanne-Stellatyne shuddered. "An aspect Great Enemy fed even upon its own tritenctacular slaves but then something... destroyed it and it was gone from here."

"It came here after being driven out of the DocTARDIS." The Celestian aspect sniffed. "What ever destroyed it is a supreme hunter, slayer, warrior but of what kind? Now I know! She is approaching."

Then she was suddenly there, a young woman figure in a hoodrobe with the face showing along with the hands holding a staff, on the left, and a sphere with the right hand. Her skin was hard to define, seeming to be golden but also of other hues and her eyes were impossibly both white and black at the same time.

She spoke in a quiet voice that easily filled the chamber. "I am the Archangel Azriel."

FMEE: 1.50.1[50.1]

Inside the falsely real Timelord Academy was chaos as a combined force struck against the trapped darkness entity. It writhed, screamed rage and agony, even as the new group arrived to help fight it. Great pools of normally quiet waters now bubbled as they boiled. Small robots had fled from the chamber to safety but some melted remnants remained.

The Timelords, the Callestian cat entity, fought against the terrible abomination.

It hurled terrible energies, physical and psychic, at those dealing with it. Yet it was weakening even as the attack continued. For a very short time it appeared that it might escape anyway as the great hall shuddered with bits of ceiling falling from on high.

Lasoona was there, now, as nine of her aspects including her primary one of Lasoona-Lasoona. Ironically, she seemed to grow stronger even as she struck at the shadowed entity.

Archangel Azriel formed out of mid air, sparkling shimmering as a tall, broad, metallic winged entity and she struck at Lasoona-Lasoona with a great translucent bladed sword, thrusting into her. It was a karmic bladed weapon and Lasoona-Lasoona cried out before she fell slowly to the floor. By the time she got there, a comforting-healing disk of quasienergies awaited her.

Then, around her, lay the other twelve Losoona aspects and each was on her own disk. Very soon, with each, was a cat entity of the Cellestian that would assist her.

The shadowy thing was gone, being destroyed!

The group, that had met the Archangel Azriel, came out of mid air and Azriel returned to the shapeform she had first utilised when they had met her. She spoke. "One can only intervene in a limited fashion and when it is the correct moment. All of you allowed this to take place here and now. Lasoona knew that she was possessed but had two dilemmas being absorbed or, in some way worse, seduced by the power of the Great Enemy."

FMEE: 1.50.2[50.2]

Ripples, shimmers, went through the Great Hall of Harmonies and it was fixed. Timelords, Timelordlings, Timelordites and others wandered the great chamber quietly observing incredible 4D artworks or the outsiders. Very small robots darted around the place or worked still.

Doctor Whothis spoke with obvious amazement showing in his voice. "So, Gallifrey was not real and had never been so but now it is real and has been so for an extremely long time. It is inside one aspect of the incredible TARDIS that contains all of this quasireality."

Where that knowledge came from was hard for the Timelords to define but Azriel knew it well, in her own fashion, as did the Cestellian.

Suzanne-Suzanne made a crystal glass, full of saphire wine, materialise in one hand and then she took a very small sip before she spoke to Doctor Whothis. "Did you know the truth?"

The Doctor aspect shook his head. "I feared that it might be so but did not know it was so for certain. Lasoona was partly possessed-seduced but splintered into 13 selves as a desperate, but clever, way of fighting back. I think that you also picked up the hints of the truth, that she was feeding us subtly because that was all she could do, but my greater experience had me linking them up faster."

There was a great deal still to be done for the quest was far from over.

They were no longer inside the DocTARDIS and many of them would be returning to it after a fairly short stay on Gallifrey.

More information had to be gained for many answers gained had led to more questions.

FMEE: 2.1.1[51.1]

Gallifrey orbited the same sun as did Earth, also known as Terra, and so did Skaro the war planet from where came the daleks and other alien species of great fame if not infamy.

The DocTARDIS remained at the Timelord Academy for a time before a planned return to TechVault101.

The Mysterious Stranger's group was still in RivetCity.

Jasmine's group remained in part of TechVault101 as did others such as the PaleOneMan.

The Judoon expeditionary force continued to be dug in at its position in the Washington DC area.

The Orderhood of Steel continued its operations as based at the DCCitadel that was the former NewPentagon.

Life went on as many factions were busy as was more so the multitudes of the factionless.
