After all these years?!

How is your hunt for a Free Photo storage service coming along?

Still no sign of your post? What?! Do you need the photos?

Can't you continue your writing without them?

I'm glad you like the picture of the moon over the Jarl's home, Dragons Reach, in Whiterun. It really needs a story to give it life.

Pagafyr, I came down with a virus which is why I have added no episodes for some time or have done much of anything else; I can write with out the pix but they help to inspire me to do more writing. Love the picture!

FME: 1.39.1[39.1]

With its usual thrumming noise, the DocTARDIS materialised in the newly renamed Outpost Vanguard. It was no surprise due to prior communications having taken place. Dogmeat was the first out of the double doors, running over to Jasmine to greet her with some happy barking and wild tail wagging. The young woman knelt and hugged the canine to herself. To most it was at that moment the two became bonded but in truth it had first happened a very long time before that when the two were very different.

Doctor-Whowith, and Suzanne-Sharana, soon joined them along with two Exterminators, Timelordite clones, K9 robots, claptrap robots, and others. Then came those who had been rescued from that other place where Suzanne-Stellatyne had departed from with her own group.

After a few greetings, and other formalities, were carried out briefly Doctor-Whowith spoke to those there. "We assumed, at first, that this is a fake TechVault101 inside a kind of Timelords' experimental TARDIS but now we know that this whole 'world' is inside that TARDIS. Nothing is fake, as such, but is a kind of quasireality in general but with real lifeforms. There is still very much to be worked out but this is the real TechVault101 as much as anything of this world is real."

Jasmine frowned. "To us it is real!"

Suzanne-Sharana responded this time. "You are real lifeforms projected into, merged with, the quasireality in a fashion as yet fully undiscovered by us. We are deeply surprised by what we have learned to be true. Truth is, we may also be part of this quasireality and that our past is false."

At that Jasmine nodded. "Maybe! It will not be easy to convince most people, of this quasireality, of the truth."

Doctor-Whowith sighed gently. "We had to triple check our conclusions before we came to truly believe the idea and we are... most likely... Timelords. We need to focus on learning more about what is happening here, in TechVault101 because it may lead us closer to the fundamental truth of what is happening generally on more than one level. As for convincing every body, of anything, there is no need to try to do so except with a few select individuals and even small factions; that is at least for now."

It was, in many ways, a not very satisfactory conversation.

FME: 1.39.2[39.2]

Jasmine frowned softly. "We need to find out what is happening at the central section of ServoVault101, it being fake or not!"

Suzanne-Sharana spoke. "Yes, but not in the DocTARDIS but in a more basic type demiTARDIS. Such devices act as lifeboats, shuttles to-from an actual TARDIS, and the DocTARDIS has five of them. We need to use a semiTARDIS in this chamber which is a type of external, semiautonomous, extension of a TARDIS. It will be a bigger inside, than outside, working space for this outpost with better security for the DocTARDIS. As for that quasiTARDIS, we need it back."

Jasmine shrugged. "It didn't do much for us, so take it."

The Timelord smiled with some expression of irony. "Oh it did a great deal more than you have realised. It enhanced, and stabilised, your Timelordic abilities even more but also activated, stabilised, abilities tuned to this quasireality that will surprise you. They need to be used with care and you will need to use them with growing sophistication, starting quite basically. Firstly you can duplicate a short, but steadily growing, list of useful and semiuseful items. Secondly, in the same manner, you can directly alter quasireality aspects around yourself. Thirdly, you can float in air, breathe underwater, gain healing from radiation and some others. You can, after a while, pass on these abilities, to others, but at a lesser level than your own. These last abilities are called 'perks' and the first has something to do with 'console codes' though we do not really know what any of this means."

Jasmine smiled. "Yes, we call some abilities perks though none seem to know why."

Both Suzanne-Sharana and Doctor-Whowith gave short nods but more as if to themselves than to the vaultfolk human.

There was an Earthquake a little bit after I wrote a bit < https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/295793-day-dreams-of-a-spaced-out-old-man/?p=51579072. > Around midnight here in Montana. I was about to give my self something to relax so I slept better and my house suddenly did a wobble shaking hard enough to make my bed tremble enough to note.

I wonder what all the Californians that moved to Montana after the quake in 1984, to get away from the dangers of Earthquakes there, are thinking today?

It was recorded as a 5.8.. < http://abcnews.go.com/Technology/wireStory/western-montana-rattled-strong-earthquake-48465773 >

On a lighter note.

I'm glad you to see you are recovering from your viral infection.

Thank you, Pagafyr!

FME: 1.39.1[39.1]

The PaleOneMan stood, looking at the young woman in the semitransparent cube, as he spoke to the TechVault101 Lilia Springsteen who was the PrimeOverseer. "We are part of the quasireality that is 'inside' a truly incredible Timelords' experimental TARDIS that the Rani calls a QuasiTARDIS. She stole it in her escape from the Timelords' home world of Gallifrey because it was the only TARDIS that she could get hold of. Timelords mostly use other kinds of timespaceships but she knew none of those, that she could get to, would have allowed her to escape even the TimeCitadel that is the actual city of the Timelords along with many others linked directly with them."

Lilia smiled warmly. "It is a very nice cauliflower that you sent me!"

The PaleOneMan nodded. "I am very glad you liked it. I find human society to be most puzzling and had to take a guess. It seems that I am no longer fully a breing. Somehow 'she' has been influencing my fundamental make up. She looks almost identical to a young woman known as Jasmine Anderson."

Lilia sighed. "We should get married. She has been 'influencing' me also. I love you, tall-pale-handsome!"

The quasibreing, no longer fully a breing, responded. "Yes, it would be best! What kind of ring do you want; I could get a life ring, a flotation device."

The PrimeOverseer smiled. "I will guide you and we will exchange finger-rings. Will you remain loyal to the Rani?"

"I have never been loyal to her or her cohorts. I was sent to infiltrate her ranks." The PaleOneMan tried to smile, didn't like the results, and gave it up; he did not realise that this attempt amused-charmed the woman who was now part breing. "The Shadow Proclamation Council of Adjudication sent me because it is justifiably suspected that traitors, inside that organisation, are connected to a large scale conspiracy. That is to what is happening here. The Rani suspects that I am an infiltrator which means it is a good time to turn against her and others like her. The council wanted to send the Judoon, a pack of brutal mercenary police too often used by the Shadow Proclamation, but I managed to convince them to wait before doing so. Unfortunately the deadline, for my report, has come and gone while I have not managed to send them anything."

Lilia shook her head. "Perhaps they will squash some superroaches."

The PaleOneMan responded. "Supperoaches, like roachmans, are innocent because they are enslaved through implants; we need to save them for the sake of justice but also in the hope of turning them into allies and to gain vital information from them."

The PrimeOverseer looked thoughtful. "That will take some doing, especially now that there is trouble in the central part of ServoVault101."

The PaleOneMan tried to look thoughtful but then gave it up; this attempt earned him his first kiss from Lilia.

FME: 1.39.1[39.1]

A large rocketship landed, badly, in a cratered area in the darkness encased ruins across the river from RivetCity. Dented, burned, and streaked with odd signs of other forms of damage, the Judoon Lawprowler settled on a slight slant being a squat, roughly saucer shaped shape. A dalek patrol had caught it coming out of hyperspace, attacking it ruthlessly before it could even bring up fully its defence energy fields. Daleks were more than just bad news, even for the Judoon.

Heavy duty Judoon, the stupid big Basic Enforcers, marched down the first of the unfolded ramps and with them came slimmer, smarter, Mediate Enforcers in fewer numbers. Even smarter Prime Enforcers would normally stay on board along with Specialist Enforcers but this time one Prime Enforcer left the ship along with two Specialist Enforcers.

The Wanderer observed them start their mission to hunt down the Rani and other master criminals of a conspiracy. At the same time the Wanderer observed BlackWidow visiting the Capital Preservation Centre of the Capital Preservation Society, along with a small entourage.

The attractive woman charmed the eccentric man but more with five small, historical, gifts than with her sexuality. She passed to him a packet of pristine Predoomsday baseball cards, a good condition holotape being a Predoomsday documentary on the city, an encased signed autograph photo of a famous actress of 2067, a jetcar racing cap in good condition and an authentic 1800s Colt sixgun revolver-pistol in its own case. Thus the man led her to a chamber not shown to everybody, a cramped space half full of filing cabinets and bookcases. It was here that she found some vital information of surprising nature.

The Wanderer rejoined the five androids, who had returned from taking resources to TechVault101, and made some changes along with doing some resting.

The Mysterious Stranger's group had found out that a massive, nuclear powered, Trident submarine was sitting on the river floor not far from RivetCity proper. Except that there was something quite odd about both it being there and its nature.

FME: 1.39.2[39.2]

BlackWidow smiled warmly at Abraham Washington but not too much because he did not seem to comprehend the concept of flirtation. Around them stretched a large museum chamber complete with a couple of fixed up, small, cars and even a prop driven fighter plane along with many smaller displays. She spoke warmly. "Do you know anything about the great big submarine?"

"Only that it makes no sense!" The man frowned. "My parents stated that they could find nothing about it in the records, not even a hint of anything like it. The navy had massive atomic submarines but nothing like the Trident in shape or in the way it is designed internally. No robots, no terminals as we have them, different kinds of computers and no rayguns. There was a small expedition to there, in submersible power armour, just before Doomsday. Some hush hush black ops unit got into the massive submarine and yet not into all of it. There were some very strange, disturbing, things they found but my parents only found a short report summary that was heavily coded. There was some unexplained link between it mysterious, sudden, appearance and TechVault101. Unfortunately I can not find the copy of the report summary; the last time I went to where my parents had put it safely away, it was gone! There might be more information in the NewPentagon where it is said heavily armoured-armed strangers are setting up a base."

"They are called the Orderhood of Steel and they came from California after breaking off with what is called the Brotherhood of Steel. They did not come directly here but that is a long story in its own right." The BlackWidow smiled at him and exposed some cleavage to him but also, more importantly, a silver locket of obvious elegance and high quality make. Catching him staring avidly at the locket, she smiled some more. "Do you like it? Its a rare surviving Prewar artefact actually made here in WashingtonDC back in 1923. You can see the WhiteHouse on it, sticking up from behind the White Wall itself. I would be reluctant to pass with it but..."

Not long after that she was looking through his parents personal study journals, having promised to add a few more items to the locket and the other five others already given over. She would ask the Mysterious Stranger to push the RivetCity Leadership Council to put at least two security guards to protect the museum with its list of valuables.

Soon she was finding herself astonished by some secretive, coded, notes of the Abraham couple that were not just about the Trident but their own unusual origin.

FME: 1.40.1[40.1]

Gunfire, machineguns hammering away, lasers burning beams, flamers flaming jets and grenades being shot as shells or thrown by hand as metallic eggs. The 'central' area of ServoVault101 was not so because of its geography but because of its importance to the vaultfolk. Now a big army of superroaches, roachmans and strange roachbots were attacking it, the roachbots being robotic-cyborg roach creatures. The security, defender, and exterminator forces were driven back slowly-steadily at first but then took up positions at a 3D barrier constructed with the assistance of reinforcements sent from LifeVault101. There they stood there ground along with reinforcements including troopers in VaultTech style power armour.

The PaleOneMan, and the PrimeOverseer, visited the area along with their entourage including bodyguards and guards. They brought with them many useful resources including people, other life, and robots; these went to the locals.

The announcement, of marriage between PrimeOverseer Lilia and the PaleOneMan, might have been more shocking before all of the weirdness began but now it seemed to fit in almost perfectly. Many of the invited people did wonder why they were asked to take cauliflowers to the ceremony.

FME: 1.41.1[41.1]

When sheheit awoke it was slowly, painfully, and unhappily for sheheit had not been due to do so for some two days yet. As the dull shiny, translucent, humanoid figure stepped out of the softly bubbling fluid, sheheit glared softly at the Rani, SageProfessor Cosmostic, SageProfessor Asgardurl and Centrano. The Rani and Centrano were rogue Timelords, she being much more well known and infamous than he was. Cosmostic and Asgardurl were supergeniuses of the 13Gen13, the first being a man and the second a woman or at least so was their current shapeforms.

The Rani spoke coldly, carefully. "We apologise for waking you early but there has been deep treachery. My fears, about the PaleOneMan, turned out to be correct but it is another who has caused us trouble. SageAssistant Vashandis released a large number of superroaches, roachmans and roachbots upon TechVault101 shortly before he was terminated because of his stealing prize secrets in order to sell them to the SyndicatesDC."

Sheheit scowled. "More likely he was terminated because one of the SageProfessors feared that Vashandis would prove to be more effective than she-or-she and take that one's place."

Cosmostic spoke. "We assure you that what we say is true except that the SyndicatesDC, being lowlife mortals of organised crime, are but go betweens; the real prospective buyer was glimpsed by reliable witnesses as was said to be similar to yourself in some ways."

Sheheit shivered. "In that case it is acceptable that you awoke me. The celestial dance continues. Triple check that Vashandis is truly dead for his great strength, as a scientist, is with cloning and deceptive duplication."

The Rani frowned. "After first examination, the body was stolen from the mortuary where it was supposedly well secured. Unfortunately the theft did not happen, according to the computer network-systems, and it was days before the truth was discovered. Suspicions had risen but then the roach creatures were released, diverting attention away from a second examination of the body. It is now certain that Vashandis is most likely alive and planned the diversion so that he could more easily escape with stolen data."

Sheheit shrugged, shook herhisits head, as one odd gesture. "If others, of one's kind, are involved than greatest care must be taken to not come up with false assumptions or conclusions. Now, I will rest lightly for some hours and go over available data while doing so. Return to your duties."

While pretending not to hurry, the four others wasted no time into getting out of that strange black chamber with its many strange, half seen, shapes of which some moved just now and then.

   Good action but to many charactors for my liking

He definitely does have allot of characters.

All of the characters could be from old TV shows and old Movies? I see allot of the main characters from many short stories and novelettes I have read?

It could be that Maharg67 is trying to catch the attention of the readers. And...by not leaving out any characters from the past twenty years, or so, he might think it will help get attention for his stories???

I'm just guessing.

  • 2 weeks later...

Pagafyr, there are characters from various movies, TV shows, etc. but I tend to adapt them to my fanfics. I also have many characters as influenced by the same but who have different names and other characteristics. This also goes for factions, technologies etc.

FMEE: 1.42.1[42.1]

Doctor-Whothis climbed a long, winding, wooden staircase of black star oak. Other staircases, along with platforms and other features, were there in all directions but gravity was generally dependent upon what surface one walked upon. Lasoona-Loossaunt paced along another path, seeming to be upside down in relationship to the Doctor. She wore a pocket, pouch-pocket, dotted robetunic. She spoke as she paced to a halt.

"The aspect of darkness, of the fragment of the GreatEnemy once trapped here, is tracked by myself in ever adventourous ventures. Just here-there yesterday, or was it before then, one unleashed energy webbing upon it and failed for it did slip away into existing non existing shadows. You stay there with Suzanne-Suzanne, Lasoona-Lakillana, and those others now following you."

That is just what happened and it was Lasoona-Laloossaunt who led them out of the 4Dmaze, that altered flows of time in different areas, She led them in directions that seemed, logically, to be going astray but which led them quickly through a phaseshift door to another area of the DocTARDIScore.

It was Gallifrey Not Gallifrey with the Timelord City in the distance and, topping the great tabletop mountain at the side of the domed supercity, the Timelord Academy inside the Timelord Citadel. Things were right-wrong. Grass glowed and birds flew upside down. There were multiple moons in the sky while Gallifrey had only one moon. Giants, in loin cloths, tended mammoths while dragons flew through the air very high above.

They strode over rickety wooden bridges while repulsing big, ghastly glimmering, green winged bugs.

They made their way through forests of damp, dank, awful smelling mushroom trees that were neither truly mushrooms or trees.

Realising that they were not getting closer, to the city, they had Lasoona-Laloossaunt take over again and this time she also took them in odd seeming directions, often going away from their destination or so it looked to be.

They drove, in a big elongated hovercar, along a freeway watched over by super sized copper, silver and golden owls.

After that they were suddenly at the outskirts of the supercity, at the edge of it superdome that rose over even the three large, but smaller, citydomes. There waited a golden, silver, copper blend robed figure of Lasoona-Lasalifrey.

Lasoona-Lasalifrey spoke gravely. "It is there, in the Gallifrey Non Gallifrey Timelord Academy. A dark thing of shadowy existence. Others have it trapped but we must go at once to assist them or it will escape."

The group headed into the city, going through a triple chamber airlock like arrangement to do so.
