cattalina420
okay so first off im not a modder nore will i make one, because if my lack of tech savy and time... still i could not help b&@*$ about this, and it came to an idea idk if their is a mod for this, but we all know the submachine gun is just the fallout name for the tommy gun, or tompson... as such, it made me wonder, why, for the love of bullets, cant you use a normal style clip on it?? i mean sure the cylinder clip for it is cool and all that, but wouldnt you think you could put a normal 12-20 round clip onto it? i mean for a gun that seems so populer for people to make mod after mod, it seems to me people want this gun to be good, rather then crappy, as such wouldnt you want it to weight less and be slightly more tactically sound? HeyYou
The thompson submachinegun was never really know for it's accuracy. So, it made up with quantity, what it lacked in quality. If you throw enough lead down the alley, you are bound to eventually hit your target, so, having a large ammunition capacity was a good idea. Originally, the thompson was NOT selective fire..... It was full auto only, and firing those huge slugs, muzzle climb was a real issue. :) So, sure, smaller magazines COULD be fitted, but, why would you want to? DoctorKaizeld
Or according to a WWII vet i talked to a few years back freakin lucky for a group of Germans he took prisoner without firing a shot because the thing was jammed and neither he or his captives knew it. Well he did because he had pulled the trigger and had initially planned to shoot all 3. I love that story.
jkruse05
Submachine Gun Stick Mag I also recommend Grab the Damn Mag, it will make any weapon using the Submachine Gun animations with a stick/box mag look better, and the drum mags only a tiny bit weird.
