Can we have a vote on which style should we use next and also mirror to use them?

This should be the proper way since this is for gamers and modders who enjoy most of the site.

Overall the new site layout looks fresh and I like it. Only issue (minor) I noticed is the way it clears the notifications/updates. In my account settings, I set my notifications to be game specific and in the old site whenever I clear all notifs it only clears on that specific game but now with the redesign, if I clear all notifs, all notifications are cleared in all games. So that means, I'll be missing out on some of my updates if I clear them before going through all the game sections. I like keeping my update tabs clean but I prefer how the old site handles it though ;)

I do agree with broccoli monster, I think that should be fixed, other than that, I do like it. I do not see anything that is way off or difficult to figure out. After a few days, everything will be like if I never had to deal with the old one. Well done !

That's something I noticed too. I've got a 24 in screen and the first thing I thought about doing was zooming out a bit.

I really like the color change between each of the game sites in the old design, the new color scheme does not look as good to me, way too much light gray (I guess it will be replaced with the site color).

The new design also needs stronger contrasts, to me it looks blurry and the different sections are not separated well enough.

Also you have to scroll way too far down to see the site news.

A superb feature of the old design is that when you hover over one of the hot files it focuses on that mod in the big picture, which is now completely lacking in the new design.

Also we are unable to see the mod description of the trending mods right now, again much better in the old design.

Another point in the new trending section is that the mod's name is on top of the mod's image, which makes the mod image seem cluttered and takes away from the image itself.

The more mods section of the new design is better than the trending mods section imo, it looks cleaner and is more informative.

For layout on bigger screens:

Why not have the trending mods in the middle and one column each on the side for latest media (left) and latest mods (right)?

The news section could then come directly below the trending mods.

I feel the same way Jokerine.

I spoke to a few friends about this design and not one of them likes it. One actually hates it so much he threw a tantrum.

I really hope for some visual and design improvements until the final launch day which reduces the cluster**** of ugliness and information and scales down the UI, which I offered my suggestions on, otherwise I'll just go away because I really can't stand this new design. I am really trying hard forcing myself to suffer through it, but it's just impossible and frustrating. On a mobile the site is PERFECT! It looks good, it feels good... except the mod pages which are ugly as hell no matter where you view them from. But it's just not worth sacrificing something that was perfect in order to make a mobile version more better.

I'll keep on surviving until the final launch day and see what changes happen from now till then. All I can do until then is just offer my opinion on the matter and like you said... adapt or die.

I am forced to death however because I really can't stand another Bethesda.net lookalike.

I am under no illusion that my opinion or me quitting matters at all, after all I'm just another random peon who already got milked for money and will be forgotten after a day of departure... but I would like to remain on this site... hopefully... :(

ikr. Ugh. I'm probably going to have to spend time redoing the images to get it to display properly again.
