DLouis
I knew how to do this with WyreBash and OBMM but not sure if it is done with NMM & BOSS. When I launch NMM there is some times an update for BOSS to download which I do. Question is do I have to open up BOSS and set the load order, or is BOSS integrated with NMM to set the load order correctly? SKSE documentation says I need to launch with Skyrim with the SKSE, but I can not find out how to set that up. I looked in the SKSE file and there is not an executable there. There is reference to the drop down on NMM for launching Skyrim that is supposed to have the "launch with SKSE" option, but it is not there. Any help? Lisnpuppy
I can at least tell you there is an SKSE launcher in your folder with your Skyrim.EXE...it will launch Steam also.

ThanksIt sounds like you didn't install SKSE correctly. The .exe for SKSE is called - skse_loader.exe located here when done correctly > C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\skyrimHave a look here:Installing SKSEWhen done correctly you should have a option to launch the game via SKSE in the top left drop down. nosisab
Yes, NMM should find SKSE automatically, what mean it is incorrectly installed (maybe installed under /data instead the main folder where TESV,exe is?). Still, opening NMM just to launch the game is not necessary, you could simply copy skse_loader.exe and paste "as shortcut" to the desktop (it is important it is a shortcut and not copying the file to there). Then you can get to the shortcut properties and change the Icon, not necessary but is nice having a meaningful icon there.
NodTuGud
I have SKSE in my root directory (see picture). It's also in my NMM folder but shows as "<no data>". When I launch SkyRim using either Steam or the SKSE loader - skyrim launches and it appears that SKSE is working but I still get the SKYUI could not detect the SKSE script extender. SKYUI wioll not work correctly ... I have the latest patch 1_04_14 and it's in the right place - so what am I doing wrong?
Ciberious42
Ok, redownload SKSE and reinstall it. Read the "ReadMe that comes with it.
NodTuGud
Did it - Thanks - It now says that the SKSE patch ineeds a newre version of SkyRim the game? I'm running through STEAM with automatic updates. The last one of these dl'd this morning and the game is up to date - so I'm back top square one. SKSE won't launch. .
